Big kids!

I was a kid again today!!! Oooohhhh it was so much fun. Kev, Kate and Ian went off to be big kids at Universal and I had Charlie and Laura and we went to .... Build A Bear!!!

My friend Sam took me to build a bear in NYC and I was in awe, she was buying outfits for her kids bears and I was totally loving it. I asked Charlie when he was younger if he wanted to go but he never so I had the excuse now with Laura, but I am not sure who was the most excited... ME, Laura or Charlie!!!!

It was like being in a candy store! We decided that everyone should have a bear. That included Kev, Kate, Ian and the 3 of us.... so here we were, jumping up and down, waving our stuffed hearts in the air and making wishes on the hearts and then popping them in the bears, running around with outfits to dress them and then naming them. Charlie had a Husky called Butterball who was an American Football Player. Charlie made Kev's who was also a Husky called Sam in Spiderman PJ's and I had a little dog, in a skaters outfit, and I called her 'Pretty Princess.

Then lunch at Johnny Rockets, and Laura bless her, said, "Aunty Lisa, you have lots of friends everyone comes to talk to you!" She was commenting on the people who were recognizing me. I had my hat but I took it off as I was always taught never to wear a hat when you were eating, it was bad manners. I still can't eat with my hat on!!

Then home to watch cars and wait for everyone else to get back. We had so much fun, we weren't ready for when the others returned and we kicked them back out to wait until the kids had their gifts for the 'big kids' and then we allowed them in. It was like having a tea party with teddies!!

No matter how old you are you can always find the child within you, and you can always have fun, even when you are down. Something has to raise your spirits and acting like a child and being a big kid can help you forget the lifes problems we all have. Find the child within and dance, sing, laugh and have fun. We can learn so much from children it's amazing, they teach us to be real!

I would have loved to have had more but that chance was taken from me but things happen for a reason and Charlie has saved me so many times and I watched him today and I am so proud of who he has become, such a 'little big boy' who has shown me how to be a big kid and realize that actually if I look at life through his eyes, the issues that we face are never really a big deal. I often listen to Charlie and kids give great advice we should start listening to them.... as the saying goes, "Out of the mouths of babes"... So true!

Happy Spring and Happy Easter Weekend!!!

Lots of Love

Fun days!

What a wonderful day! i have had to learn to let go and not to be so much of a control freak!!! I cant be in 2 places at once and I had to stop and it was great, and I was a mom!!! YAY!!!

Charlie and I had a great day playing Kate and Ian were out with Laura and it was a mommy and me time. Later in the day Kate and I had our hair cut. Oh don't you just love lying back and letting someone massage your head... ohhh heaven!!! And then we went home and I was in charge of the kids and we made cookies.... sticky googy yummy cookies and we got our hands all mushy with the dough it was so much fun, I know the kids only wanted to lick their hands afterwards of cookie dough but they turned out to be fabulous!!!

It was strange as we all went our own separate ways this evening. I was meeting the amazing Joseph Tittle another psychic who was featured on America's Psychic Challenge. It was lovely and it was so nice to connect with someone with the same ability. And Bob is lovely too... I can't leave him out!

Kate and Ian went off for a meal on their own and Kev went off to have healing with the guy that I had healing with a few months earlier.

He has just returned home on a high! He is like a little kid, and he is calling it psychic surgery! The experience for him was amazing, I don't think he has had an experience like it. But he is feeling like a new person and I know he looks like one too.

It's amazing how an experience like this can leave us feeling like a new person. And if you haven't had any form of healing it can be such an incredible experience, you have to surrender to it and enjoy it. It can often be nerve racking as you may not have experienced it before but let your self go and feel it.

With every new experience in your life you just have to let go and feel into in, and really surrender to it, you never know how much you will enjoy it!

Have a fun Friday!!!

Singing for the Soul!

Love is so powerful that sometimes we struggle for words to describe it. When something that is so big it's hard to find the right words that fit. I like to call them labels. we label so many things where really words cannot describe how we feel.

I think that's why I have always been drawn to music and verse. Even though it's still words but they are so much more powerful when put to music. I listen to my friends music and often I get my greatest inspiration through her music, and today I had a day on my own, beavering away in my office getting so much done, and all along I had music playing.

It's incredible. There are so many talented artists out there who have the gift of music. Music can lift you so high you feel like you can touch the sky and then it can also bring you so low that you are not sure what to do with yourself. I envy those who can create from deep within their soul and who can open their thoughts and their hearts and put it down on paper.

It's really strange how in my life I have surrounded myself with musicians and singer/songwriters. Many people would say that it's because I used to sing, but actually it's been since I stopped. Some of my very good friends are in the music industry and I see them and look at them and I am in awe, and I am like a start struck teenager when I listen to their music it's so powerful and then the next minute they are my friend who I am sharing a meal with, and laughing with.

One of my friends is so intuitive with his music that when I was at a really low point in my life, he was texting and emailing completely out of the blue, with words that I don't think he realized they healed me and helped ease the pain. Just incredible!!

Words are so important to everyone. I know we can show our emotion but some people have to hear how we feel and to tell them is also powerful. We don't need to be the famous singer or musician or be able to write great poetry. Just speaking within the heart can touch so many people. Tell people how you feel. Express the love, even when it's so hard to find it will help it resurface.

Have a happy day and sing as loud as you like and like no one is listening.... even if it's just today, see how it lifts your soul high.

Well it's official Ronda and I are holding an event in Ojai and I have posted more information on the site. click here I am sure we can fit in some singing on this mini retreat!

Singing for the soul, even if it's in your car... :)

Happy days!!!
