Healing
It was a lovely day today and I did my first reading and then went to the hospital to give some healing. For me it's important to give back, and by giving healing, that is my way of doing it. Everyone needs healing in some capacity, and whether it is helping someone to heal from cancer, a break up or just a cold, it doesn't matter, you will be given as much healing as you need.
My grandmother used to receive healing from Spirit and they helped her and then they also did the same for me. I never though I could have healing from Spirit. Once I first started to heal I used to give healing all the time. To everyone distant or not. I found it fascinating... and I still do.
Imagine healing someone with just your hands and the energy from the universe!! You can never give too much healing, the person receiving it will only be able to take so much and the healers energy will only give what the person needs... It's incredible.
Today was one of those situations, where I could only give so much and then I kept moving position.
The weekly healing is something else I love to do and I hear so many stories how people have placed their name on the list and suddenly the pain goes...it's amazing!!!
We can all heal. Just by listening to someone in need, touching someone who needs the help, or hugging a stranger. I noticed this happening today, where we were all in a crowded elevator and a lady at the back started to cry and and another lady hugged her... a complete stranger healing another... it was so lovely to see.
So no matter what you are doing, find some time to give some healing... 5 minutes to listen to someone or an hour to give healing. You will be surprised how much healing comes back at you when you need it.
So my healing thoughts are will you all and especially to those who need a healing hug... I'm sending it to you!!!
With love
Lisa

Lisa,
As always, your information is both practical and extraodinary. You're like the world's gentle reminder to stop and share our positive aspects with others. To follow our inner guidance and to radiate the best of ourselves out to the world.
Thank you again and again for gently reminding us through your powerful, healing actions.
Bright Blessings,
Eddie

Hi Lisa!
Thank you for your healing blog and the hug!
It's been a busy week and I'm so looking forward to some "me" time this weekend. I'm balancing this with helping others to heal. I've a dear friend who is going through a divorce-her soon-to-be ex is vacillating about whether or not he really wants to go through with it-and it is just tearing her up emotionally. This friend of mine is a strong person and has so much going on in her life. She is transitioning to a new full-time job while attempting to keep strong for her young daughters. This evening I called to check-in to see how she is doing. I sit and listen, giving her my undivided attention. She knows that she can vent and that I am here for her. This is one way I can help her. Of course, I continually send her healing energy and put positive thoughts out into the Universe for her.
Didn't get a chance to post a response to yesterday's blog and wanted to say that I appreciate the topic and your fabulous suggestions. Yes, I agree, I need to be patient and pay attention to the lessons that I'm learning along the way.
Enjoy your weekend!
Hugs to you, Peace and Light...

How amazing are your posts everyday!! I can't wait to read them when I get home from work!
I absolutely LOVE your attitude and the light that you give people. You seem to know just what we all need to hear!
I am glad that you went to the hospital today! I am sure that you made the day of everyone and their families as you passed from person to person! Giving that ray of hope to them may be just what they needed to overcome whatever they have going on!
You are also right about everyone having the ability to heal. I had never thought about it before though. But it makes complete sense! Something as simple as a hug (friend or stranger), or someone to lean on and allow you to vent. What a great thing to be a part of!
Thank you so much for all of your insight and wisdom! I appreciate all that you do!
Thanks for the hugs too! Sending the right back at ya!
I hope you get to enjoy the weekend with your boys...Kev and Charlie! And Lucy too! :0)
Thanks for being you!!!
Hugs!!!
Lisa,

Life may be BLACK & WHITE... so be sure to live it in COLOR! Michele
Lisa,
I love your blog tonight. I find that sending and giving healing is actually healing for me too. And that giving love only creates more...
Love and light,
Dawn
Great blog Lisa!
It is wonderful that you continue to help heal the world, one person at a time. You are the most giving person.
I like to try to help anyone who needs it, in anyway I can.
Whether it be to talk, a kind word or just a hug as you say Lisa.
I hope I help too, if only in a small way.
After an operation, I did try to heal my dreadful wound, with my own hands. I was in so much pain I thought it was worth a try. I think it did help ease the pain and because I was so focused on what I was doing, I felt much more relaxed and able to cope with it I'm sure!

Yes, Healing...through touch or focus or intention or prayer or any of a myriad of ways,,,POTENT - quiet strength. Amazing. Good. You. ~
Blessings upon you and yours always `;*:`~
I was in whole foods today and a small boy,(looked just like CB), a little younger though, maybe 4 or 5, had a grocery cart fall on top of him.
I think it scared him more than anything, but when I went up to his mother to see if he was OK I could see his knee and shin were bleeding, and he already had a knot starting to form.
I introduced myself to his mother, and said I was a reiki master, and asked if she minded if I placed my hands on her son, to do some energy healing. At first she looked at me strangely then said "I doubt if he will stay still for you or stop crying and yelling, but go ahead and try".
I placed my hands above his leg and talked to him in a very hypnotic voice, got him to take some deep breaths, and imagine he was breathing in golden, yellow light, i pointed to a banana and said just imagine the air you are breathing in looks like that banana, and when you breath out pretend it looks like the skin on that avocado. Within about 1 or 2 minutes he had completely stopped crying, and was doing nothing but focusing on breathing in a banana and out an avocado.
The look on his face was priceless and made up for the terrible entire year that I have had. He almost didn't want to leave me, when I tried to walk away he moved his leg closer to me, and told his mom he wanted to breath in more of the banana. The look on his mothers face was just as rewarding as that in the little boys.
But it only took me about 2 or 3 minutes and he was perfectly fine and then I noticed I had an audience of store shoppers and workers all watching me to see what I was doing.
Then the "verbal diarrhea" started and before I knew it I was rattling off names of friends, relatives, what they passed of what her childhood nickname was, and what her grandmothers favorite phrase and song was. This had her more freaked than the fact I had quieted her son so quickly, and him saying his leg didn't hurt anymore.
I still don't like to tell people I am a medium and clairvoyant but when spirits are around me and want me to relay a message I have no choice but to go with it, and it continually amazes me at what comes out of my mind and mouth, and I think she was completely stunned as well.
I am going down next week to meet with a social worker at one of the county hospitals to see if not only she can offer me some help, like finding me a place to live other than living in my car, like I have been, and seeing if I can get some kind of assistance for housing, food, and utilities, the only advantage to not having money to even pay for a roof over your head or gas in the car, is that I don't even have money to by much more than a few apples and carrots, so the weight is just melting off of me these days, but while I am there to see if I can get any help at all ( so far our city has already run out of money to help those who need help w/utilities,food & housing) so I may be out of luck, and stuck living in my car for the unforeseeable future, but I am hoping with talking to the social worker I can see if I can make some arrangements to come into the hospital and volunteer doing Reiki on neo-natal infants, hospice and HIV patients.
I know at one time I heard you say it was against the law to practice Reiki on anyone with HIV/aides...I am wondering if that is only a law in the UK, cause I have not found any state here in the United States so far that has that law.
It sure is nice to be able to heal people though when your not even trying to, when your just drawn to do it because you see a small child hurt and crying.
Do you know if that is only something that is taught because of a law in the UK, because it doesn't seem to be the law here, so I am hoping to be able to do some volunteer healing with not only HIV patients but also with neo-natal preemies.
Have a great day!
the best part of it was all of a sudden I got your "verbal diarrhea" and started to rattle of names of relatives and a particular health condition she has been dealing with. So, I was not just able to help a young little boy that reminded me of my own boys and CB, but I was also able to pass on a few messages from loved ones and helped the mother pick out a few things for for what I felt was an issue with her endocrine system, sure enough, she told me she was having trouble with her pituitary gland. she said she has not been able to loose any weight, exercises and diets beyond belief, she even went to eating a vegetarian diet, but from talking to her, she does what a lot of veggies do, since they don't eat animal protein they tend to load up on white rice, white bread, refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, which by the way is banned in every country except here in the USA,. She also was consuming to much natural fruit. It is imperative, especially for any women in peri menopause of full blown menopause to stay away from anything white,ie no white bagels or donuts(i think in the UK they call bagels donuts??) no white rice, white potatoes, white bread, white sugar and most importantly you have to stay away from non-hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup, these are carcinogenic and hormone inhibitors. Also, you are better off having a real soda than having a diet soda, The amount of chemicals in diet soda is illegal in most other countries. I did some shopping with her, turned her onto whole grain pasta, hummus instead of mayonnaise, hansons instead of soda and got her to do away with all that non-fat yogurt she thought she was being so good by eating, and talked her into trying Greek yogurt instead, and just adding some stevia or xylitol, not the artificial sweeteners in the blue, yellow or pink wrapper instead, got her stevia and xylitol both of which are safe for diabetics because they don't affect the blood insulin levels and stevia is actually an herb that nourishes your pancreas, for those of you who don't know, your pancreas is what causes diabetes and regulates your blood sugar and glucose levels Once I told her that just a teaspoon a day of xylitol would decrease her sons chance of cavities by up to %85 percent I had her basically willing to try anything, right down to doing away with regular deodorant and going with
Toms,Jason's, or mineral salt, she had no idea that the aluminum in deodorant is not only a hormone inhibitor it has also been directly tied to early onset Alzheimer's.
Have a great Day Lis! :)xoxo me
I hope you get some rest soon, you're pushing yourself and burning the candle at too many ends.I know the workaholic you are it's hard to just stop, but please take some time to do it, your body is telling you it's what you need. OK, sorry rant over and I know you don't like people telling you what to do or giving you advice like making sure you drink enough water before a blood draw or taking the time to rest and take a break from work, but so many people need you, so it is so important for you to take care of yourself, but the healing energy has been coming most everyday that I have the energy to spare it for you.
{{{hugs}}} right back to you.... you touch so many people
Dearest Lisa,
How precious a gift you are with your continual openness to the needs and pain of the world, changing the energy, transmuting that sorrow, that pain, into peaceful acceptance. I love you for your incredible generosity of spirit, every day you demonstrate that to us more and more and more.
This blog, as usual, had a real message for me, as I have become very deeply concerned for some of our members who are struggling with their challenges. I am reminded that yes, one person can make a difference if the energy of love is the engine of that concern. If the motive is to reach out a healing hand of love, to send love, to give love, to know that yes, love is the answer to the question. LOVE.
Thank you, beautiful one!
Love,
Barbara

Your post was right on target with me today....just what I needed.
You are amazing.....and so are your hugs.
Much love,

Lisa, just about finished your book, wonderful reading. I hope we will have you back on a regular TV show soon, it's wonderful to watch you bring such peace to your clients and to learn some life lessons from you and the experiences you have.
All the best.
Lisa I am interested how you do the healing that you do. When I get back from my trip to the Puget Sound (if you want a vaca...small towns, lovely people, gorgeous environment) I want to start volunteering at our local Veteran's Hospital. I think those are some people who could really use a hug.
So any instruction could be put to use
