Des Moines

Well I just finished the show in Des Moines, it was a crazy show and I think the first reading just shocked everyone... a lady had come to try and get closure and find where a member of her family was... sadly she never got the closure that she needed, but I think the message in that reading was, to let go of something you are never going to solve.

Although I gave her some answers and information it was not enough, and it's sad, but it blew everyone away and I think everyone was in a state of shock.

The last reading was also an emotional one too, so all in all there were lots of tears but also lots of laughter too...

I think we all have to realize is that you get the information you need, not always the information you want...

Off to Minneapolis next!! See you there!!

- Lisa -
I am so glad to hear that you had a good time at your show!

I was just catching up on the comments from yesterday's blog. Plus I was surfing around your page. Stumbled apon your tour dates...OMG! I am soo excited to see that you are gonna be in Cincinnate in November!! Woo Hoo!! I know that is still a ways away...but how exciting to see that you are gonna be in my town and that I might have the oppertunity to go to your show...and possibly even meet you! That just makes me wanna sing!!

So I know that was a bit off point...just wanted to let you know how stoked I am! :-D

BTW - How cool...I'm the first to post tonight! That NEVER happens! :0)

I hope your flight to Minneapolis is a safe one...and hope you can get some sleep tonight!

Many hugs to you!!!

Hey Lisa,

I know exactly what you mean by possibly not hearing what you want to hear. Entering a situation expecting to hear something specific and being disappointed.
Those on the other side only tell you what they think you should know. It's only what they think that you can handle at the time. That's what I've been told anyway, and I believe that it's true.

Your shows are amazing and your energy is endless. I don't know how you do it. I am in awe.

Remember to take care of yourself girl!!!!!!!

Sincerely,
Carrie

Dear Lisa,

My friend Angel and I met you in Des Moines at the autograph signing. When I told you my name is Cathy, you mentioned that you had a message posted on your website for "Cathy" and I should check it out. I just wanted you to know this message was not meant for me. I have not lost a young girl as described.

Thank the Lord I have no unresolved issues with people on the other side and so was not expecting any messages at your show in Des Moines. I just wanted to see you! I loved your show and was moved to tears when Eugene came through. Our entire community was affected when Eugene went missing in the 1980's and is still talked about today, all these years later. To have answers for his family about what happened to him brings closure for me, a simple citizen from the community where Eugene was abducted. I pray it brings peace to his family as well as you shared that he is fine now and is with other loved ones on the other side.

Bless you, Lisa. You are gifted with the ability to help people and we are blessed you have chosen to share.

Cathy

Hopefully the rest of your things arrived for Cali!

You sound tired. Hope you are OK, & that installing furniture in your head is not exhausting you. Save energy to take the grass cutting job away from the gardener, at least the back acreage! Good, weekly exercise that used to keep all of me in running form, & great for maintaining that weight you are taking off! You can slap headphones on & sing to the Heavens without interference, since nobody can hear you & you can't hear anything but the music & your own thoughts! Maybe the mower will be so loud "them lot" will leave you alone for a bit........

As for the readings... Whomever needs to come through does, & they say what needs to be said, or what they think the listener can handle. Reminds me of that Stones song " You can't always get what you want...but if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need."

Not always easy to take, when you are mentally shouting at your "people" to come forward & speak about more than the weather & Mom's meatball recipe. As in life, people do as they will, & I guess the same goes for spirit.

The crowds who come to see you are mesmerized, swirling with mixed emotions. One certain.... they do applaud you, & will never forget being in the "room" with you...Rightly So!

Rest well & have fun. That schedule is heating up again & I have no doubt that Kate & Janey will be along shortly to bungee you to the bed!

Love, A

Hi Lisa,

It was wonderful, that you were able to help these people with some information and comfort, that they can now hopefully use for some closure.

You are right in saying you don't always get what you want but what you need and I too believe that 'they' only come to you, when they think you are ready and able to handle it.

That could mean that you might only receive a little at a time....sad but true. It really is a highly emotional time....hopefully these people will now be open to receiving what they 'need', in their dreams.

Wishing you luck (I know you don't need it! lol) with your next show, it will be fabulous, I'm sure of it!

Looking forward to your next blog!

Sharon

P.S. Did you get your suitcases Lisa? I hope so!

So glad your show went great. I know when I saw you in Springfield I told myself that if I was suppose to get a reading I would, if not it wasn't meant to be at that time. It is hard, I am sure, for everyone cause EVERYONE wants a reading and you get your hopes up. I know in Springfield before you read that last message of the night, I turned to my sister in law, Tammy, and said it just wasn't meant to be tonight and that was ok. Then you read that last message and it was meant to be. Even if you hadn't I still thoroughly enjoyed your show. Listening to other peoples stories is so rewarding in itself. To see you in "action" and how the process works for you was unbelievable. Personally, I think you could do a show, in your jammies (as mentioned above), not even have anyone come through and you would still give an amazing show. You just have that...um...IT factor...very warm, loving and caring and that shines through everything, more so than the readings. You Go Girl! Have fun in Minn. are you going to hit the MALL OF AMERICA???? OH MY! SHOP TILL YA DROP TIME...MAYBE, SO YOUR FEET WON'T HURT YOU COULD RENT A LITTLE SCOOTER THING AND THEN YOU COULD HIT MORE SHOPS CAUSE THAT PLACE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HUGE. I have been 3 or 4 times when visiting in WI at my inlaws. I have never gotten through it completely yet.
Well hugs and love...take care of yourself. cindy

Lisa,

I just wanted to start off to say thank you for coming to Des Moines. I hope you will be able to come back again soon!!! The first lady gave me goose pimples. I really hope she will find closure or even put an end to the mystery of E Martin.

I can't wait for your new show and hope to have a reading with you.

Thanks

Lisa,
You are twice as beautiful in person and what a gift you have. You made a large arena seem like an intimate living room and we were just lucky to be there visiting with our favorite sister/aunt/cousin. I would have loved for my friend to come through but as I told you after the show, the people who really needed to hear from their loved ones, did.
I can't wait to see your new TV show. You are a true sweetheart--someone we'd all love to go to lunch with. Loved your jacket!

Any more Live shows via the Internet soon??

I was at your Des Moines show last night and was one of those audience members who was shocked and amazed with the first reading when I caught a glimpse of the photo the woman had and realized who Gene was. You told her there was a photo he didn't like, I bet it was that one, because it was everywhere, that's the one photo of him everyone saw. I was moved to tears for her and for the last lady definitely, but also there was much laughter. Your pantomiming of what they are doing is priceless! Thanks for a great show!

Dear Lisa!

Yes, so true, you get what you need....and that is not always easy and seen right away.
Like Sharon T , I deeply wish for the lady (ies) to be able to "see" and understand .
Thank you all.
Bye, Lisa, take care!
Marlies.

Hi there Lisa,

I just want to say that I am inspired by your gift and love and respect all you do. You are a messenger, a conduit to the otherside but cannot be expected to deliver what we want but rather 'what they want' (the spirits)... you help spirits connect to their loved ones by delivering a message.

Also, you happen to be one of the sweetest mediums here on earth that cares so much about people but this can sometimes get you down. I suspect it is a struggle for you... especially when a reading goes well but does not satiate the persons needs or resolve a major issue on their end.

Please take care of yourself and be well!

<Big Hugs>

Lisa,
I had the grand opportunity of being at the DesMoines show. It was just as extraordinary as I expected. You are brilliant and I am eager to see your show...I even considered becoming a "groupie" and going show to show (at least the midwest ones) and my friend who came with me was right there with me!
She asked a question while we watched last nigh..."What determines whether or not someone comes through?" Is is the shyness of the person who has passed on or the strength and energy of the person who is still alive and wanting a message?
Again, I love reading your blogs and will be anticipating your show...what station will that be on?
Thanks, Lisa...your messages give me a calm even when they are not meant for me.

Hi Lisa,
How are you feeling today? Please get some rest. As everyone said .".you get what you need."(the person you are talking to).
It seemed last night a lot of things were intense;universal wise. Then there is Rod Stewart..."KICK OFF YOUR SHOES AND SIT RIGHT DOWN"....good lyrics to a great song. Hello to Caroline.
God Bless you Lovely Lisa. YOU ARE Fantastic!
much love and have a wonderful afternoon and night. Shopping?

This is a little off topic but I wasn't sure where else to post! I just finished your book and it was fabulous!! I have a 15 month old son and managed to finish it in just 4 days. I know I don't have to tell you how that is no small feat!! It was very inspirational to me and I am so grateful you were willing to share your personal life with us.

I also wanted to say THANK YOU for coming to Charlotte, NC!!!! I am elated and cannot wait to see you in person. I am glad your tour is going so well so far.

Namaste,
Carolyn

Dear Lisa
I am yet another "one of those" that yearn for certain information which I realise now my just never get to me. AAARRGGGHHH...lol..as frustrating as it is I am beginning to realise that no matter how many times I mentally ask it is just not ever going to happen.
So many little thing I am relying on to give me closure and now I feel that yes...the time is upon me to learn to let go.
As hard as it is..I may never know. Your words on this blog have made me realise that this is the case in so many lives. One day I am hoping to get beyond this urge. Thankyou for your words of wisdom:)

All my Love

Lisa,

Thank you so much for coming to Des Moines. My sister and I were lucky enough to get a reading last night. Your wonderful gift has lifted a weight off our shoulders. We are so at peace now, knowing that mom and dad are together again and so happy.

I wanted to let you know that after thinking about the many things you relayed to us from mom, here are a couple of clarifications. You mentioned at the beginning that "a 3rd one was missing"...That would be my Aunt Nancy, mom's sister. There were 3 sisters and Nancy was the 3rd. Then you mentioned that Susan was far away, had her own life, and that we don't get to see her much and that its not because of a rift or anything like that. Well, that is Nori, her 2nd sister, who lives in Madrid, Spain!!!

You nailed it when you talked about the letters and cards we had written and left for mom on mothers day. No one other than my sister and I knew that we had done that nor about the red roses we leave for her when we visit.

You are a true gift. May God continue to bless you and your family and I hope you come back to Des Moines.

Thanks again,
Cristina

That is a good lesson for us all! That we don't always get what we want!! People so often expect too much from prayer, psychics and other advisors and sometimes we just have to realise that sometimes no answer IS the answer! Who knows what we have to work out ON OUR OWN? We can't ALWAYS have answers handed to us on a platter! We have to learn to accept and be glad we have learned the lesson of acceptence; it can be quite freeing actually!
