Synchronicity

I was having afternoon tea with some friends today, and I sat back and watched the senario... I couldn't believe that I had bought these people together in a weird sort of way.

It all starts 18 months ago, 2 weeks before I start filming for Season 1 of Life among the Dead. I had had a few weeks off reading, and I felt I need to practice on someone. So along came an English lady, Mary, who was a friend of one of the producers for the show. She had been in the music industry for a long time and used to manage bands. I told her a lot of things, but one thing I remember, I told her she would eventually end up meeting a woman through a friend of hers and that she would manage that person and be very happy. She didn't want to hear it as managing someone was the last thing she wanted to do.

Mary fast became one of our very good friends and has been a great support for our family.

OK, fast track to summer last year.

I woke up one day and, I can't for the life of me remember what I wanted to shop for, it was a piece of furniture anyway, and I told Kev that I wanted to go and shop on La Cieniga. It's not a place I normally go, but something pulled me there and into a shop. A shop I wouldn't have dreamed of going in, but it looked interesting.

The guy in there watched the show, and he introduced me to a client of his, Lucy. The odd thing is that Lucy introduced me to a person from England, Laura who has now become my friend. For some reason I know I needed to introduce Mary and Laura together. I didn't know what for, and I spoke to Mary about this. I could tell that she really didn't want to meet Laura, but because she trusted my judgment, she agreed. But her heart was not in it. They met and they adored each other, and Laura asked Mary to work with her and asked her to become her manager!

(I hope you are keeping up as it's gonna get confusing!)

Mary had some old friends that she was re-connecting with, and during the conversation she heard that one of her old neighbors from England, Lyn, was living in LA. Mary didn't know this and was also surprised to learn that Lyn was working as a healer. Mary and Lyn got in contact with each other and caught up on old times. Nothing was mentioned about their work.

Laura meanwhile had employed a gentleman who wanted to bring in a healer into the business, this healer was Lyn! So imagine Mary's face when she walked into a meeting and saw Lyn sitting there!!

Mary and Lyn carried on chatting and Lyn mentioned that she had lived in LA for a while and she was not bothered about meeting stars but she did say she would love to meet a Medium that was on Lifetime, Lisa Williams. Well Mary, being Mary, never let anything on, she has worked with so many celebs and even her own son never knows what's going on with her.

So here I am having afternoon tea with Mary and Laura. And Laura tells me that her healer is coming to meet her and that I should meet her. Imagine Lyn's face when she sees me sitting there with Mary AND Laura!

so I sit here and think back to that day when I just 'knew' I had to walk into a quirky shop on La Cienega. Look at how it's turned out!

I hope you were able to keep up. It got a little confusing for me. It's amazing. Just think back in your life when you meet people, or you are going through a situation and question it. Things happen for a reason, and at the time you never know what the reason is, but eventually it all gets ironed out and you understand why you had to go through a situation or meet a particular person. Uncanny really!!!

I'm feeling much better after a quick trip to the doc's and a nice little dose of antibiotics! Finally I managed to unpack, and now I can concentrate on catching up with some work.

Oh I booked my retreat!!! YAY... I am doing a personal one on one retreat with someone I found on the internet. When I saw her site, I had goosebumps so I know she was the right one for me. I inquired about it using my married name, so she wouldn't have any idea who I was if she watched the show. She told me that she was booked up and that I had to give her some options on dates. Well I was very restricted with my dates and told her, and she had a cancellation!!! For the dates I wanted!!! YAY... again, it all happens for a reason! I've only got to wait 3 weeks, I'm so happy and I can't wait!

I hope to add some more messages tomorrow, so pop back for those and also I wanted to share a picture with you of Zimmy the little boy in South africa that we sponsor. He started school this week and was so proud to have a uniform! Bless him!!

I got you all smiling today, so lets try laughing!!! My granddad used to say, if you can't have a good belly laugh a day your not happy... so I want you to find something today to have a good old chuckle about and hold it with you. If you can't find anything to chuckle about, then think back to a memory, where you fell about laughing... SMILE, LAUGH and BE HAPPY!!!!

I love reading your blog everyday and adore that you are so happy and upbeat all the time. My little one said to me today as she was laughing and laughing, oh you tickle me. Instead of saying you are making me laugh. So Lisa you tickle me, as my Belle would say:)

If you're looking for a laugh, here's a funny video of our boys roadtrip from Florida to Michigan in 2003. The younger son is no longer with us so we treasure this video. And it is funny.

Lisa, Thanks for your kind words of wisdom. Synchronicity has brought about the most amazing circumstances for me, and it's always a delight to watch it unfold. And you are right - one needs a road map sometimes to track it all down. We should each be alert and aware to these tuggings and inclinations to go down our own La Cienega's -isn't that a great street, by the way! - and see what the folks upstairs have in our path. We are lucky to be alive now, in spite of all the travail, because the world is smaller, and we can meet or encounter so many more people in such a small period of time that is our lifespan. Stay strong!

I was able to follow your story and also feel things happen for a reason but I don't think I've heard a story quite that extensive. Amazing!

Hi Lisa!
So glad you went to the doctor and are feeling so much better! You make my day. I love coming on here to read what you are doing next and how your day is going.
I loved the story. I have had a few of those things happen as well. They always turn out to be the best and longest friendships.
Oh yes! Isn't La Cienaga a great street!? Melrose is also a neat place to go and visit some of the quirky shops. My favorite is over near your office on Robertson Blvd. though. I love the shopping and having lunch at "The Ivy"...they have the best enchiladas! Yum! And you never know who you will see at Kitson. A great store!
I hope your retreat goes beautifully for you. I have to wait until June. I wonder if we are seeing the same lady!! Now, THAT just struck me as funny! So, I have laughed, thank you very much!
Have a beautiful day, Lisa. Be well and be happy. Love to you and yours!

Hey Lisa, I had a weird experience that has kinda stopped me in my tracks. It has caused me to reevaluate all that I believe and stay kinda confused. I am a christian, but the other night I was asking if I had a spirit guide after reading something. at 4:44am and voice woke me up, it whispered "Bill" in my ear so loud that it woke me up, I jumped up looked at clock (i have that one that illuminates on the ceiling so I don't have to look around for the clock) 4:44am, I had heard that that was the sign of angels, that number. anyway, as a christian I started second guessing this, scared that I was maybe calling on a spirit without really knowing what I was doing. then watched that show "A Haunting" and some guy was possessed by calling on a spirit that he didn't realize was demonic.........blah blah blah.........anyway, now I am confused. I have prayed and asked for more signs, but NOTHING.......So if it was bill and he is my spirit guide, why did he pick a name of an old boyfriend that cheated on me and hurt me so badly. that was weird too. I was wondering if you could help me figure this out..... it is a new year and I am having a hard time moving forward. thank you THANK YOU, Thank yOu!

Lisa
I have been wondering...with your experiences, if a person is mentally ill (clinical depression; irrational beliefs about someone; molesters, etc), once they pass, do they realize the truth and that they were wrong?
My second question is, do our pets who pass on have the ability to come thru to you in any way?
Lisa, I hope that you are well. This season, i discovered your Lifetime show )and am upset that it was taken off the air). You are an amazing person! I hope to be able to see you in the Boston area soon.

Take good care!

Hello Lisa

I have watched you for a long time now and I must say that I am shocked every time. I have always felt that there is another world outside of ours and I truly believe you are the real thing. I have always wished to have a meeting with you but wonder how and if there is a fee. I am honestly willing to pay to go where ever I may have to to meet with you. I have had so many different experiences with the spiritual world and would love some confirmation of things that have happened and to be able to connect with my brother who passed before I was even born. I have always felt a connection with him and would really love to know what happen to him? I have so many question as I am sure so many of your viewers/fans do. can you please tell me how I can get a reading? ..

May God Bless you always.

Your greatest fan and believer

Hi, Lisa! I'm glad you're feeling well! :) Good ol' antibiotics! ;) I am such a huge fan of synchronicity!! It's a topic I talk to my girlfriends about all the time. Everything makes sense in hindsight. :) I can just picture our guides and loved ones maneuvering us from upstairs. :) The other side's version of a video game, hahahahaaaa....
I can't wait to hear about the retreat!!! And little Zimmy is precious! I remember my friends in college sponsoring a little girl. It's a great idea.
Have a great weekend!!
Ciao! :)

I'd like to respond to Robin-

Robin,
Take a deep breathe and calm down. If you have made it this far you will continue to handle the lost of your loved one. You have to put things back into perspective. No doubt Lisa can help bring comfort to you and answer your questions but you have to do the hard work of accepting what has happened and forgiving yourself. You will still have to deal with the pain, lost, and loneliness in your day to day life. It takes time and is hard.

Please do not make Lisa feel like this is a do or die situation and if something happens it is her fault she didn't contact you.

Have you been to grief counseling? Find someone who can help you go through the stages of grief in a healthy productive way. You need that support right now. You will be amazed at much you will grow spiritually and become stronger. Then you in turn can help others who are suffering with grief.

I send you positve, caring, loving energy.Be still and receive it.

Lisa,

I would call myself a skeptic before I saw your show. I am very anxious to see what you do with your gifts in the future. I am amazed at your sincere desire to help people, and that is what made me a believer. Now my mind is open, and that is thanks to you! :)

I very much believe that everything in life happens for a reason. I am trying to consciously follow my instincts, and I am excited to find out what my future holds.

Thanks for keeping up with your blog, I look forward to whatever is next in your path.

Thank you Lisa for your daily blogs, it is a treat to read them every day. Your thoughts and example regarding synchronicity was exactly what I was reflecting on just about an hour ago in my own life. It is amazing how you can do that! It is so obviously true that things absolutely happen for a reason, and as you stated before, even the bad things we go through. They are all learning lessons and have led us to where we are today. It's amazing the love our guides and angels have for us and how they continue to support and guide us through this life. It all makes sense when you look at the big picture. Thank you Lisa for all of your valuable teachings! Looking forward to tomorrow! Love always...Amber K.
