Happy New Year
Well I have just 'seen' the New Year in with some of my closest friends and of course Kev and we are all truly grateful to be around each other at this time.
One of my friends has had to experience a passing over this time and for another friend it is the anniversary of one of her friends passing. We all deal with death differently. Both of these people passed young, but it was not before their time. We choose our time when we want to leave this earth plane. Once we have completed our life's tasks it is time that we move on. I know this first hand as I have had my own near death experience and I was told that it was not my time.
But naturally it's this time that we choose to remember those that we have lost, but also remember that they had to go as it was their time, and now it is our time to live the life that we are supposed to lead. We should never feel guilty about someone elses passing, their life is mapped out for them, just like our life is mapped out for us.
Embrace the New Year as it comes in, make your wishes and remember your dreams. follow them and make yourself happy. If you are happy those around you will be. always remember that things happen for a reason and that we never remember days, we remember moments, so in 2008 lets create some memorable moments!
Here's to 2008, let's make our dreams come true!

Lisa, I am going to try my best to follow your advice i just have so many unanswered questions in my head about my daughters death she was a wonderful and loving daughter and mother ,, everyone tells me she is in a better place so i wonder sometimes if i would be happier with her ,, it is a struggle to get through the days with out her

I read today's blog entry with interest. I'd like to believe we don't go until our time, but does our time necessarily mean we are ready to go?? My aunt lost her husband at the young age of 42 to cancer - they had 2 young children, ages 6 and 8. I know he wasn't ready to go. He wanted to be around for his family and raise his children. He fought hard but the cancer won. So was it really his time? It's been 10 years now but I still have such a hard time with it - watching my aunt struggle to raise their 2 beautiful children. She did a great job though - I am so proud of her for getting through it somehow. He was truly the love of her life...and she is still single to this day. Sad.
Anyway, here's to 2008. I've decided to make it my year for accumulating riches...and I don't necessarily mean financial ones. I got this idea from your prior post which was very inspiring to me. So here's to making dreams come true and creating memorable moments!

You are really bringing in the new year right by being around friends and family. I am happy for you. I hope you and your family are having a great time.
I hate to ask questions like these when you are on holiday and relaxing but it does come at a time when I need to ask you.......
I was raised to believe that any contact from the other side must come from something evil. I am completely torn with this. I have experienced things and some have been evil and most have seemed relatively harmless (even though it scared the bejesus out of me). I know there is activity out there that is completely unexplained. I have signed up for a class for mindfullness meditation starting next week. I wonder what your thoughts are on this. I am torn because I want the insight from the other side and wonder if this is "good" communication. Do you think you can let in the good and stay away from the bad? I don't want to let in bad forces. I purchased your meditation CD's - I have never meditated in my life until this trial run. I listened to them once while the kids were at friends house so I could have a calm moment. I did not get anything from an angel or from my spirit guide. I was wondering the whole time if I should be opening up something I might regret. I guess I am not ready. Can you give me some insight. My big question is.... why did God come to people in the biblical times through angels and visions and why not now? Does that make any sense? I do not want to put the welcome sign up for bad energies - will meditating do this? I know you have always communicated with the other side - how do you feel about this? I know this part is really heavy - why does the bible not get into this part of the whole system of things?
