Dark spirits
Hi all.
Well isn't it annoying when you type something and then your computer throws you out!! I think the dark spirits that I just spoke about didn't want me to tell you how to get rid of them ;-)
I know some of you have had problems with dark spirits, so here is a little excerpt from my e-book concerning Protection.
"We have negative energies around us all the time, you all you hear about it on the news for example, but what we are not aware of are the negative energies that come close to us when we least expect it and are unaware. We call them Psychic attacks.
We define a psychic attack as a build up of dark negative energies that can be sent out from a person or a place. It creates disturbances. This negative energy has many names. A Spirit, an entity, a thought form, a dark energy. All of which can be very harmful to the place or person receiving them.
Some people will argue the case that these psychic attacks or negative energy do not exist.
Well let me put the record straight . . .. They do exist! And in today’s society, I believe they are happening more and more frequently. However, they can be overcome when identified and handled correctly.
Negative energy is transferred into someone’s aura or physical form. It often happens without you realising it.
In some cases it has been sent intentionally to create harm to control a person or to punish someone. It is really sad, but it happens. It’s often called voodoo or Black Magic. It can affect your health; your mental and spiritual levels. They often include spells, mantras, negative rays, items which have been given or placed in your home which have negative energies attached to them.
There is also negative thinking aimed towards a person; this can create negative energies being aimed at a person. This can also be in the form of jealousy, seeking revenge, vindictiveness, anger etc. These are thought forms and can attach themselves in a person’s aura and can be destructive to that person
Don’t just think that people send these energies out on purpose; it can come from another source… YOU! If you have had prolonged states of anger, rage, resentments, bitterness etc, this can attract and send out negative energies. It’s natural to feel like this sometimes, you are only human. Remember like attracts like!
Violence – draw negative energy
Smoking – weakens your energy field and you can become vulnerable
Recreational Drugs and alcohol – draw in negative energies (I am not talking about a sociable glass of wine but prolonged heavy drinking)
Symptoms of a Negative Attack
There are several degrees of Psychic or Physical Attack and some are worse than others.
Symptoms of Psychic or Physical attack
• Scratches or small cuts that can’t be explained
• Unexplainable stress
• Depression for no reason
• Suddenly acting totally out of character
• Major changes in clarity of thinking
• A drained feeling
• Hearing voices
• Unexplainable constant tiredness
• Recurrent or frequent nightmares
• Strange or recurring accidents
• A discomfort or fear in a specific room or area in your home or office
• A loss of self-confidence
• A sudden loss of energy
• Little ailments that don't seem to get any better
• Sudden illnesses that cannot be explained
• Feeling someone touch you or bump into you when nobody is present
• Sensing a presence · sensing a large pair of eyes watching you or following you or a black shadow.
This is not an exhaustive list but it will give you some idea of what to look out for, for you and those who are close to you. Some of these are also extreme cases and it has been known that people suffering from these attacks have considered murder or suicide.
Have you ever been around a person who has been off-loading their problems onto you and needing your advice, then suddenly you walk away feeling drained and uninspired?
I would say every one could say yes to this! It may not have been on this person’s part but negativity breeds negativity!
Negative energies can be absorbed or can attach themselves to objects during the process of being made or by resting somewhere where negative energies exist."
So now that you know this, we have to get rid of them. It helps to know who brought them in or what has happened to encourage them, but we need to get rid of them.
I always close my closets and doors when I do readings as I know negative spirits breed in dark areas, so you have to be aware of this. You need to sage the house at least once a month, more often if you have a lot of people coming in your place. And you also need to sage your aura too... Light the white sage, you can get this from new age shops or Whole Foods, and blow out the flame so that it's smoking. Waft the smoke in the corners and the dark spaces in the house. Fill the house with this. Personally I hate the smell but others like it. You can get sage mixed with lavender which is a little better on the nasal passages! Once you have done this, open the doors and windows and allow the smoke to leave and shower the room with love and light.
I like to do a little ritual every night where I imagine the house surrounded with a pink bubble of love and protection and then you can also do one with the kids before bed. Charlie has one. You pretend that you are sprinkling gold fairy dust over them to protect them, or when they shower, the water can be imaginary white light of protection. There are many ways to do this.
However if a negative spirit is attacking you, you need to remember this one thing: DO NOT BE SCARED!! Easier said than done, I know, but it's what they want. You have to imagine that you are pushing them away and out of the house through the nearest door or window. Tell them to leave and ask your angels and guides to surround you and help you. They will. Imagine that you are blocking them away. Then in the morning, or if you can there and then, smudge the house.
This should help.
Well what a day I have had, the company that we were flying to the UK with went bankrupt and we had to find alternative arrangements... my friend Rob (bless him, he is my angel... his girlfriend wrote a song about his, and it's entitled Angel... I digress) kindly pulled a few strings with Virgin Atlantic, so we have a flight booked with them tomorrow!!! YAY. I still spent most of the morning at the airport, but at least we are heading back for a few days! I can't wait!
I will be blogging, but I may not be able to do it daily. I will try to keep up with all of you. I'll take pictures of the trip so you can see what I've been up to!

My husband had been going out of town for work and the nights he was gone, my son and I started hearing strange noises (knocking three times underneath the house, etc.). My husband laughed and told us it's an old house; they creak and talk.
About a month ago, I woke up from a dead sleep and saw a dark shadow of a man, wearing what looked like a security uniform, standing over my bed. I started screaming for my son to jump out the window (he sleeps with me now when his dad is gone and jumping out the window is our escape route), but I could not move and nothing was coming out of my mouth. The next scene was me gently guiding the shadowy figure out the front door to leave, and then me sitting down on the couch to collect my thoughts about what just happened. I went back to my room and saw my son and dog sleeping soundly. I was awake when this happened. Why didn't my dog bark? Did my dog not see it? Was I dreaming?
One week later, I was in the laundry room folding towels, when I heard music playing in the garage. I put my ear to the door, but it was silent. I thought I was losing my mind. I walked over to the kitchen counter and heard old timey country music coming from the vent in the floor. I got down on my knees, put my ear to the vent of the floor and heard it. I sat in that position for five minutes until it faded away.
What is going on? The couple who built this house lived here for 25 years before the husband had a stroke and died and the wife sold it to us. He was a guard at a prison and his son told us when he was helping his mom move out, that he loved this house; she hated it.
Is it him visiting?

About 3 months ago I had something strange happen to me. A woman, Jessica, approached me at a department store and she said that she was a psychic and that she needed to speak to me. She said that my chakra had called out to her for help and that we had been friends in a past life.
Jessica said that my spirit was telling her that I was a good person, but that bad things were happening to me. She said that a woman from a past life wished me ill and that this negative energy was continuing into my present life and was getting progressively worse (snowballing). I was meant to be happy and successful, but this woman (from the past) had been very jealous of me and was creating the negative energy that was continuing in my present life and that it was getting much worse. She said that this negative energy was now also interfering with my husbands energy and his chakras. She insisted (quite adamently) that I not discuss this with anyone, including my husband or any women in my life, because if discussed, the negative energy would prevent me from getting help. I haven't gone to her office b/c I'm scared to (I know nothing about her) and don't want to go by myself.
If she is right, maybe it explains why I've been very sick with 2 separate - and very strange - illnesses over the past 3 years --? The doctor's can't figure out how/why I could have picked them up. My last doctor told me that my case was honestly just "weird." This past illness was literally my worst fear that came true - and after losing 20 pounds I'm just now recovering.
I'm willing to try anything to get this negative energy away from me - and will definatly get some sage. I'll wear a sage necklace if I have to! Anyway, I just wanted to say "Thank You" for posting that message!

I have lost 3 of the closest members in my family recently. Two of those under mysterious circumstances. I know that you have more on your plate than you can handle now, but if I don't get some answers soon, I think I might go crazy. I keep holding on hoping that I will be able to get to you some how and that you can help me find a way to deal with whats happened. Hi Lisa, I am struggling it seems like everyday anymore with day to day life. I have 2 wonderful daughters age 3 and 4months old who need me dearly. My step dad committed suicide in August of 2006 and I am having a hard time dealing with that too. I constantly feel neg energies around me and found this blog hopeful for some insight. I have been doing lots of research lately b.c i feel presence of beings a lot. and I get scared and think maybe i am going nuts. It makes complete and total sense as to why I had the experience's I had, my ex and I were together at the time and he was very violent and abusive and there was alot of anger, resentment and rage. I had many of the "signs" you listed above. Very enlightening.
It is beautiful how much love you have in your heart AND you share it with people you don't even know - amazing. That is what impressed me the most on your show, you would convey the message given and you would reach out to these people you were reading for and hug them to console them.

You have comfirmed the informatiom that I have figured out over this past day, I know what it is and who brought it here, and I also know it was done out of spite! Hello Lisa, I hope you guys had a safe trip back to your home, and also have a safe trip back here to the US. I will pray for you and your family and friends and ask God and his Angels to protect you on your journey. Thanks for putting up these things about the dark spirits. It is almost like you were putting that down for me personally! I don't feel I am the one afflicted with these spirits, it is my Dad that I believe is. I have always said he "has demons on his back" he acts so odd at times. I have put up with mental and some physical abuse for my whole life, I can remember being a small child and being yelled and cussed at, even at one time thrown across the room. Now that I am a lot older, it is sad but you get use to it, I am in school full time for criminal Justice to be a homicide detective and I also am the founder of East Tennessee Paranormal Investigators, or E.T.P.I., I started this a while ago and love it very much. I did it to help myself in a way to find answers, well, I found them! Anyway back to my father, I do not respect him at all for the way he has treated us (as in me and my brother) we have put up with so much that I can't even explain. He never wanted us and he reminds me this everyday, he tells me that he didn't marry me or my brother, he married my mother and that he didn't sign up for us. Sometimes I wish we were adopted out since we were not wanted, that way we could have went to a home were someone would love us and respect us. I swear I think he is possessed by something, just because the things that he does. He threatens to kill me, calls me crazy names that you should never call your child no matter how old they are, and just told me the other day he "would put my brains all over the garage" I am sorry for who ever is reading this for all this detail, but I just need answers from anyone! I can't do it anymore, and I can't afford to move out because of how expensive everything is. Going to school is rough enough even though I do make strait A's but I work extremely hard at school, and hard works does pay off. I have blessed my part of the house (which is upstairs, I have it all to myself and he never comes up here, it is almost like he can not, if you know what I mean) I know that I am completly surrounded by God and his Angels and they protect me through everything. But, I am afraid for my mother, I think honestly whatever this is, is trying to get to her. Her attitude has changed completly even though she thinks she is OK. She tells me that someone comes and speaks with her often and claims it is my great-grandmother, I know that it is not. It is like whatever this thing is it is deceiving her and making her think it is something it is not. My mom can not get away from my father, she stays around him constantly and can't even help me when I need it because of him. He calls her mama, and treats her like his mother as well. I personally do not think he loves her like he should, he loves her like a mother because she takes care of him and does everything for him, he does not do the same in return, he actually orders her around and the thing is, she is very sick. She has 3 serious diseases and we recently found out that I have 2 of the same that she does. I worry because I take care of her, and when I move out who will do it then?? He does nothing for her. He can't even hold down a job! And tells me I am a lazy piece of crap; when I am the one who goes to school and works?? If anyone here has any information to help me please do contact me. I was reading your blog on evil spirits and was reminded of an acronym someone once gave me about fear given from evil spirits - it is "False Evidence Appearing Real". They try very hard to get you to believe their lies. Once you are able to recognize that they are bothering you and you are being made to feel something false, you can boot them out!
