Nottingham

I decided to wait until the morning after the night before, to blog for no other reason than the fact that I was tired when I go back to the room.

The show was great! I loved it the second half was crazy... Bang bang bang the readings flew out I dint come up for breath but it was so much fun.

I then went out to the meet and greet and then suddenly BAM there I was standing in front of someone who I recognised and all my thoughts went crazy... Where do I know her, what country, does she look like someone I knew, no wait her hair has changed, could it really be... OMG it is!!!

My dear friend Carol was standing in front on me in the members line. We had lost touch years ago. Both of us had real tough times. I was a single mom at the time she headhunted me for a sales position that she was trying to fill. And from the moment she interviewed me we got on like a house on fire.

She always thought I was going to be on stage but like most people who knew me back then, they thought it would be my singing.

It was a total blast from the past. I had not long split up with Charlies dad and I was going through a tough time and we used to spend weekends together I'd drive to see her or go up to collect her and bring her to my house. Charlie adored her.

We had both tried to find each other but paths hadn't crossed. She encouraged me so much and she along with some other great friends, Janey and Jonesy bought me out of my depression.

So last night I was tired because we sat up chatting and gossiping until the early hours about life and how much we have changed. It was so lovely!!

Friends will always come and go but as I said about blackpool there are friends that are meant to be in your life forever!

Were on our way to Birmingham now to relax. It's a busy time and I've just been told off by Kev for not scheduling in time to relax. He right of course so I think time having a massage is in order!!!

With love

Lisa xx

Lisa:

It sounds like you are having so much fun while you are working - who could ask for me than that....that is awesome!

I have a friend that I just saw after a number of years (it was her son's funeral, unfortunately), but she just hugged me as if I just saw her last week. We don't need to see each other often, but we are still such great friends. That is what it sounds like with your friend, Carol. They are the best friends to have...they are there when you need them. Take care and keep having all of that fun...

Hi Lisa,

So, there's a place called "Brum" in the UK??? And I thought it was just the name of that car on the kids show! (I saw SO many episodes of that (bleeping) programme when my kids were younger, I was ready to do myself in!!! lol

I just finished reading your (first) book last night and thought it was great. Looking fwd to your next one and lots more in the future - you are a very good writer. I loved Kev's nickname of "The Hipster" (lol). I assume he is YOUR hipster now???!!!

Anyway, glad you are enjoying this tour. Must be great to revisit those old places which feel like home (and catching up with old friends). Another alternative of the "3 R's" you might consider are: Retail, Revelling and Red wine!

Cheers!

(P.S. Cant wait for the 29th! State Theatre is gorgeous!)

Dear Lisa,
You see, I knew it, Kev's the Libran trying to keep balance in your life... and he's right of course, because I know, I'm also Libran and I do the same to my hubby Colin (whose Gemini like you). He works way too hard... after being at work from 6 in the morning, after work his usual pose is in front of the TV, remote at his side, laptop on the table in front of him, and his cellphone nearby. On one occasion when he was on his cellphone forever, I told him I was going to put it in his coffin with him. He asked to please add the TV, laptop, etc. as well!! Love his energy, just can't always keep up.
It must have been so awesome for you bumping into a special friend like that in your meet and greet, especially as you had both been wanting to make contact. Staying up the extra hours is worth it at times. Clearly this was one of them. I must also add Lisa, that after reading today's blog, Kev is one special guy because he seems like such an awesome dad! You are very blessed and I'm very happy for you because you most surely deserve it. So look after each other and the love that you have been blessed with. And Lisa, listen to Kev when he gives you good advice and tells you you need time out. He knows these things. I am looking out for the new audios of your UK shows. Have a wondrous tour. Oh, and I received my membership package today all the way to SA... thank you. Thinking of you, Jeanette, Plett, SA

hi Lisa... loved the Blackpool show, even when there was no message for us :-) just loved being there!
have a chocolate, or did Kev eat them all ? ;-)
please tell him I'm sorry not saying hi to him, i was a little dazzled by all the people waiting in line, didn't want to take up too much time.
hope to see you soon again ... wink hehe !!!
have a great 'rest of your trip' !
love, Ann & Krista!

Dearest Lisa, Hi, I have been reading your book too and I feel that you have another gift which is the gift of being a very talented writer. I admire the way you always persevered through many of the struggles in your life. May you always be rewarded with lots of blessings for all the effort that you put into your life.

I am not doing too good these days. I wish so much that I could meet you someday in the future. I was very excited yesterday when my package arrived. I had bought some jewellery and the home cleansing kit from the online store.

Hope that you have happy times catching up with your friends. Take care sweet Lisa and have lots of rest and chocolates or cake treats. ((((((Hugs)))))

Hello Lisa ! Waou through your phone ! It's incredible what mobile phones do now !
Thank you for telling us about your friend Carol. It is so moving indeed when we find back old friends especially when so many things happened, it makes us realise all the way we have done...
Friendship is so precious really.
Enjoy Birmingham Lisa. I would love to be there, first to see you and because I lived a year in Sutton Coldfield 8 years ago so I have a lot of memories there !

Take good care of you,

Love,

I'm glad you're having so much fun in your home country. Sometimes it's really nice to go home again where everything is so familiar. And to meet up with someone from your past -- what a blast!

We had a paranormal exhibition here in Denver this weekend, and I had a very good reading with a lady named Sandra Poland. There were something like 30 psychics there, so I chose one that I was especially drawn toward. I think she really did contact my mom because she told me my mom was "very busy" where she was (a.k.a. having a great time being a spirit), and she looked in on us only very rarely, which is what I suspected all along. A "pretend" psychic would've told me that my mom loves me and is with me all the time, watching over me, yada yada, and that just wasn't my mom in life, so why would that be her in death? Anyways, I still ask her to contact you, so I hope to see a message from her in the Messages from Beyond, but I'm not surprised when I don't see one month after month. My mom was done being a mom a long time ago. As Sandra put it, "She says YOU are the mom now.

I enter the contest for a free phone reading every month, and I know you're super busy, but I hope that some day when you're tired of traveling, you might schedule some phone readings -- I'd be happy to pay for one. I also hope you finally get to the Denver area some day! I'd love to see you live!

Take care, and keep up the great work. We love you!

Lisa, I have to tell you that I am getting quite the UK education from you.

The other day I had to look up Pac-a-Macs and found out what it really is since I thought it was possibly a new Apple/Macintosh gadget that I had missed. :)

And you also mentioned a brolly which I now know means umbrella in the UK.

I just saw your Tweet about Percy Pig's... I was like what the heck is that so of course I looked it up online so now I know it is UK candy... by the way, they do look yummy! :)

Then you mentioned Brum and now know you are referring to Birmingham.

So I thought I would share what I lhave earned so far...

So you are a Brummie from Brum that brought a pac-a-mac for the rain instead of a brolly and you love Percy Pigs which are candies from the UK. I know you will have a good laugh when you read this. However, I am learning...LOL :)

Hugs,
DS

Happy that you are reconnecting with essential folks from your past, who will be able to continue on with you, for the rest of your life journey! It's all about the Love!

Now, sneaky... is the massage for you? Or, did you schedule the massage for Kev, so you can use his relaxation time to keep up with doing what you do? Hmmm?

Kev is right! Use the time to relax with him, letting it sink in that you are back home in a BIG, positive way, as you should be! Wish I had a ring-side seat in the audience in Brum, but know it will be so fantastic we will feel it from here! Much Love from us.... O:-}a

Hi Lisa, I came to your show last night in Nottingham. After the second half you wanted to speak to a person called Carole, then you mentioned June and that Carole has a friend with breast cancer. Well I think that was me but I completely froze and wasnt able to speak or stand up. I really regret it as my Grandma died recently and was hoping for a message. However, I loved the show and really enjoyed it. Best wishes, perhaps I'l be able to stand up another time.

Just wanted to say thanks for a lovely evening in Nottingham, you have such a gift, not only for your work with the spirits but also your ability to make a complete stranger feel like a friend. We stayed behind afterwards to meet you and it was a great end to a lovely evening. Saw you meet your friend Carol - thought you were going to break her you were hugging her so hard, glad you got the chance to meet up again.

Hope to see you again soon

Dear Lisa, I just finished reading your lovely book and I learnt so much from it. I was excited to read that you tried to wear a sari for your wedding. I know how hard it is to tie a sari. I have a cousin's wedding coming up in Nov and will have to wear a sari. Even I find it a struggle to tie a sari. They look very beautiful but they can come off very easily by accident. Our men wear the Veshti ( looks like a white sari tied at the waist) and when they walk, some of them find it giving way and coming undone. lol. (me bursting into giggles here).
So I felt so much for you when I read about your struggles with the sari.

And Lisa, I have just discovered that over here, they sell Percy Pigs in the store called Marks and Spencer. I have never tried it before but the next time I go there I am eager to try some. Bye, love you lots. Take care.
