Monday, September 7, 2009 at 07:02PM Firstly, I have to say .... I LOVE BLACKPOOL! Its a place that is very dear to me, and of course when I was younger and about 17 I used to come here on my 6th form trips but that was a boozy day or a weekend with the girls. Later on I would come here as my very good friend lived here.
So Blackpool has a special place in my heart and what a place to visit on my tour... amazing.
I first metup with my friend who I had not seen for 7 years and it was so lovely to see her, she also has the gift which is fabulous and we laughed about old times and what we would do... it was so funny, but its amazing how we have both settled down with men and married them, because they accept us for who we are... they have never tried to change us. Good job really!
So then the show... it was lovely. Although they were quiet, there were some amazing stories and tragic times and the connections that came through were strong and loud. To me that is a great night. Yes the energy from the audience matters but tonight it didn't as the spirits were there and wanted to be heard.
It was sad to have to leave the stage, but I met everyone after the show, and it seems as though my signing is longer than my show sometimes, but I will not leave until the last person has left! The time is coming that it's going to be only members that I meet sadly as leaving the show and then heading off to the next venue is crucital for time, and it's hard to do that but something I have had to do. :(
After the show we headed out to see the delights of Blackpool which consisted of young kids, (and I felt old) drinking and having a good time... It was so great but most of all to catch up with a dear friend. You know there are friends in life that you only have to pick up the phone and they will be there for you come rain or shine and this is one of them.
In fact she had a go at me for going through my hysterectomy without her!!! I am one person who keeps my problems hidden and I never tell anyone until after the fact but I know she would be there and I would be there for her. Years can go by and you can pick up where you left off and that is what makes a true friend. It doesn't matter if you were supposed to call them or they were supposed to call you... none of that matters because ultimately you are there for each other.
So be good to those around you and know that those you value in your life will be there if you need them, sometimes you just need to ask, as they may not know!

Wow !! I'm the first to comment a happening for sure. Another wonderful blog and also one that is near & dear to my heart, Friends.... Sometimes friends are closer than family, are there for you when no one else will be. Here's to friends everywhere. You can never have enough True Friends.

hey lisa I enjoyed your show even though my sister did'nt get the message she wanted she lost her hubby in 2003 and every time she books tickets to see different mediums she does'nt get any messages all she wants to know that he's all right ,
I know its alot to ask but is there anyway you can help your her fav and she's joined your extended family.

Hi Lisa, its Cheryl we 1st met in Las Vegas which was amazing & then you come to MY HOME TOWN of BLACKPOOL which was awesome. Then to really make things wonderful I was your second reading of the night !! How friggin fantastic was that?! I had to laugh that as you were talking to me you hadnt recognised me til half way through when I mentioned Las Vegas...it was the glasses...I only wear them for seeing in the distance so wore them to see you clearer...lol.
When Auntie Elsie came through about the boobs well as my friends on here already know & you now know boobs seem to figure in readings...well if your blessed with the 'GIRLS' like me what else is gona grab my attention. It was soooooooo funny the way you kept grabbing yours saying can anyone relate to this & I was the only one either cos it was so definately for me or I was the only one brave enough to admit to a booby message.
But what was even more special was Kieron my son coming through, cos as you rightly picked up he is polite & quiet so wouldnt of got through if it wasnt for Auntie Elsie who would of elbowed Kiz through. I cant wait to tell Viv my cousin in CA USA that her Mum came through. As I told you after the show Viv & I are so close anyway so it was lovely to hear from Auntie Elsie.
Thankyou Lisa it was a lovely Birthday present for me (12th Sept) & Kieron (3rd Oct). You was soooooooooo accurate yes we are planning an anniversary to do with the memorial cos its Kiz's 21st birthday on the 3rd so we have been re-vamping the memorial garden in preparation for the celebration. You was as always on the money!! And yes we are all going out for a meal then & also this weekend to celebrate my husband Gary & my birthday as we share not only the same day but year so we are 41 on Saturday. I cant wait to tell everyone at the meal about your reading.
I wish I had acknowledged & let you know more about just how accurate you was but there never is enough time, as I worry about the person behind me & you needing your rest. But hopefully you get to read this & just know I cant thankyou enough. I guess like many here I would so love to have a private reading but more so to acknowledge fully your gift & have the time to talk. But lets not get greedy, I am so priveledged to have met you twice now & also to have had not only any reading but the most important person 'I wanted to hear from...my 14yr old son...well now almost 21'.

Hi Lisa it was lovely to see you for real last night rather than on the TV. Show was brilliant even though we did not get a reading. Their were 7 of us with you last evening, we tried to get your book but you had already sold out so we were very disappointed. I have to say, the staff in Blackpool were very good but stated their was nothing they could do. Myself, Beverly & Sue who are my sisters had a very bad year last year, we lost our grandmother, grandfather and then our mother within a very short space of time. Our sister Beverly had lived with mum all her life and now at 45 she is struggling with carrying on. Both Sue and myself are also feeling very low and things are difficult some days, so listening to you last night even though we did not get a reading was comforting. Could you please let us know when your back in the uk possibly in Liverpool as thats where were from. Also if there is any way we can get to meet you personally and have a reading with you.
We will get your book as the 7 of us all wanted it as I have already said, its not the same that you have not signed it but never mind maybe next time.

Yes, you can always count on the friends that are truely your friends, Kev, thank you for being there for Lisa in all that she does. Hiya I just wanted to message you because I read your blog about Blackpool. Sounds like it was a good show especially from the comments on here. Me and my husband really wanted to come but got scared. We didn't know if we could cope if the people we wanted to hear from came thru. Now im worried that they came thru and we werent there which feels worse....Oh well seems I think too much and should have just come. You were the only one who seems so genuine and who we would have trusted with our lost loves

I can't help to be so fascinated by what you do. I live in Belguim and would so much get the chance to see you or one of your shows. As I lost my very dear father a few years ago I can't help but get tears in my eyes when i see you giving somebody such a wonderfull gift " a message from beyond"!!!!! Upto now I still haven't been able to get over the loss of my father like probably so many people out there that have lost such an amazing person like my father. What amazing that you have the power to give people a reason to get up and start living again!!!!!
