I'm finally in Perth!
Friday, September 18, 2009 at 09:53PM After Birmingham we headed down to London and thats when I last blogged, sadly only about an hour later my dad was taken ill and had to go to hospital. I thought he was having a stroke in the car but thankfully it was only a reaction to new medication that he had been put on, but he still didn't make the flight that he was on to come to Australia.
After staying up 30 hours that day as I was changing reservations, and ensuring that my parents had everything they needed, we got on the flight, and I have to admit, I didn't even know that the plane had taken off... next thing I knew, I was in the air, and I put my chair back and fell back to sleep. There wasn't anything I could do, I left everything in the hands of Janey, Jonesy and Caroline, and I am thankful that I have them by my side.
They called to see how Dad was and to check up on mom and to confirm reservations etc etc. I am happy to say that Mom and Dad are leaving in the morning to join me in Sydney for the Press and then heading to Brisbane, to take the trip of a lifetime that they have always wanted to do.
Dad, bless him was more concerned about me having to change arrangements and not flying Virgin Atlantic than going in to hospital and being put in ICU... Mom as always too in in her stride... 'Oh he'll be fine, and if i'm not there for visiting hours he will kill me' instead of sleeping. My mom is someone you would want in a crisis, if she starts to panic then you know that there is something seriously wrong because it's just not her style!
So I am happy to say that while I have been MIA for the last few days, it certainly hasn't been relaxing... but I am here in Perth ready for the first show tonight and I can see the venue from where I sit here and I am so looking forward to kicking off the first show of the Australian tour! Whoohoo!!
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tonight and making the connections that need to be made. It's going to be a fun tour... 12 dates in 16 days in 2 countries... lets go!
Enjoy the weekend and remember to laugh and have some fun!
With love
Lisa xx

I also wish your parents a safe journey....that must have been frightening! I am looking at all my relatives photos (who have passed over) wearing their jewellery and talking with them today and reminding them they have to shout! I am supposed to be working but it is less than 6 hours to the Perth show and I am really really revved and so stoked that I am finally going to meet you LIsa....Even if my very loud grandmother doesn't come through I will just have fun. I am even bringing my husband along! I signed him up today - hehehe....
CAN'T WAIT - you will be awesome!
Hi Lisa,
Wow I am glad you made it to Australia... Welcome back again!
First of all I would like to say how sorry I am for what happended to your father I can relate to how you must have felt leaving him there. I haven't commented on your blog for so long I have been having a few crazy crazy weeks lately. My father also has been very sick & was in ICU but good news he is back home & just needs time to recover. That's great your father is now out of hospital & will soon be in Australia to start his adventure.
So WELCOME back to Australia :) :) :)
Enjoy your time & traveling back here in this beautiful country. Good luck for the Kerri-Ann show. (I was in the audience last time and asked you the question "Can spirits from a foreign country communicate with you")
I am looking forward to seeing you again at your 1st Sydney show.
Lara Haidary :)
Hi Lisa
It was SO wonderful to se you again in Manchester and eventhough my family and I didn't have any messages coming through we had a special time and felt that the trip was instigated from those in our family on the other side. We ahd such a great time together.
It also was humbling to witness the mother who got what felt like the proof of her daughter being around her. And the lovely lady who kept on joking with her husband and who wouldn't be joining him any time soon.
What a journey you are having, both physically and in life in general.
I think Madonna or any other performer usually have at least a week or two off, between continents.
I hope your mum and dad have a great time Down Under and get to experience some of all the fab stuff Australia has to offer. And you never know; dad may become less of a skeptic..
Good luck in Australia and make sure you rest and look after yourself as much as possible.
We'll be coming to another show, where and when we do not know, yet.
Any chance of a visit to Norway?
So glad to hear that your Dad is OK and that it wasn't anything serious. So how do you like Perth? It's a lovely little city and I am a bit partial to it even though it's been almost 50 years since I left it but I've been back many times and I always enjoy the beauty. Don't forget to go to Kings Park and I wish you all the best for your show there and the rest of Australia.
You are going to all the cities I visited on my last visit there two years ago to see my relatives and I know you will love them all, especially the Gold Coast. Enjoy and get as much rest as possible. We don't want you getting sick too! Love you,
Anna
Have a wonderful time in Australia together with your parents, enjoy, enjoy! XXXXX
I'm so pleased your Dad is o.k.
I hope your parents enjoy their trip to Australia too,
Can't wait to see you on the 25th!!!!

Dearest Lisa,
I am so happy for you for a number of reasons - you got the rest you needed with your busy schedule and time zone differences... I was wondering how you were going to cope being so tired and was actually quite worried about you. I am also very happy to hear your Dad is okay... all the excitement probably didn't help either, he and your Mom must be so excited to be going with you on your Australian tour. Your Mom sounds like a wonderful lady. I am so happy for all of you being together on this leg of your tour... have a wonderful time filled with lots of love, blessings and unforgettable memories. Thinking of you always on your journey.
Hugs,
Jeanette

Aw Lisa, that must have been terribly scary to see your Dad like that not knowing that it is the medication. So glad that your Dad is okay and he will be able to join you. I can't even begin to imagine how you are crashing after 30 hours of no sleep. Take care and find some Lisa time so you can attend to yourself before the upcoming shows. Stay strong and be well.

Dearest Lisa, I used to be very worried about taking flights but if you have another tour in Perth, I am going to try to take a flight to come and see you with my partner next time around.with loving hugs,
Great show in Perth tonight, thanks a lot.
Thanks so much for coming to our city of Perth Lisa. You thanked us for coming tonight but it is us that should be thanking you...Loved your show tonight and look forward to seeing you here in Perth again....
Thanks Lisa for the Perth show!!! It was awesome to meet you :) and an absolutely bonus to get that validation in the message that came thru in your meditation before the show!!!!
PS: I don't think it's a coincidence that when I opened my book you'd signed... the message you wrote in the book were exactly the 2 things I had been told last week.... to believe and stay strong :)
Thanks again!!! unforgettable night!
