Birmingham
Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 05:55PM I went home! I was born in Birmingham , I met my husband in Birmingham and I did a show at the symphony hall on Birmingham!! Amazing!
Who would have thought that I would be standing on stage in front of 2,000 people in my home town and one of my favorite mediums, John Edward sent me flowers and they were sitting in my dressing room. It was such an amazing feeling.
My dad and brother were in the audience who of course were the skeptics... But that didn't stop me, the readings were fabulous and my heart went out to a couple who had lost their son earlier in the year and what an emotional Reading. I went and joined her in the audience and I feel everyone in the place could feel her pain. When her son had to go she of course didn't want him too but his energy was low and couldn't stay for too long. It was hard for her but she knew her son was safe and well and happy. I think that was the main thing for her.
Then something freaky happened my grandmother came through to somone and I didn't realise it was her until I saw her and I started to cry. Here I am crying!!
I didn't recognise the girl but in fact she was my nans next door neighbour. I couldn't believe it!!! Last time I saw her she was at college and now she was all grown up!!!
After the show there were so many people that stopped by to say hi and all my friends were in the green room having fun. It was so nice to see everyone.
Thank you to all of you for making me feel so welcome I loved it. And what's really made it special was that my family and Kevs family were there to support me.
Hugs and love and I'm off to Australia in the morning!!

Dear Lisa,
Oh Wow... Oh Wow... Oh Wow... I am SO excited and happy for you. It sounds like the show was a huge success!! It must have been so awesome to have your Nan come through. Lisa, PLEASE post the audio on your site soon, soon, soon!! I am stuck in South Africa, and I would really LOVE to be able to listen to the audios of your UK and Aussie tour because the folk in the chat room will all be going and they talk of nothing else... wouldn't mind sharing the experience via audio. I knew you would be blown away by your hometown at the end of it all... always good to go back and conquer past fears, makes one feel very free afterwards. Hope you managed to convert your Dad just a little. How did he feel being part of one of your live shows. I can't imagine he would be anything other than very proud of you! Know that people are spread across the world rooting for you. Love, hugs and blessings as always. Jeanette
Ohhh Lisa you were so great in Manchester, your readings took my breath away specially the one from the little girl with the dora shoe and the son who commit suicide and want to say sorry and hello to his mom and a lot of friends.....and then the lady in the weelchair that she's allways forgot to take her tissues out of her pockets when she wash her cloths and that it wasn't her time now to come to her husband........I was hoping to get a reading to but i knew a couple off hours before that my dad was to shy to come and speak through u with so many people, but then afterwords when i was with u during the meet and greet u said immediathly that he was with me and love me so much and protect me,ohhhhhh i started to cry and i want to tell u a couple of things but my tears won't let me hihi.....
I believe it was for u very emotional when u did the readings and suddenly your grandmother was there, and knowing that your family is also in the audience(hahaaaa and they still are skeptics????????(incredible))
I suppose that u know by now that so many people really adore and loves u all over the world.....
No matter when but in this life i want to meet u and have a personal reading in the U.S,that's on my list asap to do on nr 1,lol
I wish u from the bottom off my heart all the luck u need and hope that your tour downunder and in the U.S. are gonna be superb to and after that enjoy reunion with your little boy Charlie .......ohhhhh i think he's missing u a lot
Lisa u are such a lovable, adorable, dinky, warm living angel on earth, lots of love xxxxxxx

there were some good readings last night , especialy the couple who lost their son it was so emotional, everyone in the audience was crying even me. but the lump in my throat just wouldnt go away, safe journey to oz lisa all the best, june
Hi Lisa!
Really enjoyed last night, it was fantastic to see the girl from Redditch who used to read from her little lounge on that HUGE stage! The readings you did were very emotional and definately went to the right people, I'm so glad you were able to help the lovely couple who recently lost their son. I saw your mom and dad on the way who looked so excited and proud....I have to say your dad doesn't look such a skeptic now!! lol. The reading I thought may have been for me I think may have crossed over as you mentioned a 'Carole' which your Grandmother's friends couldn't place, this is the name of my auntie who you read for with my mom and I a few years ago! Have a safe trip, it was lovely to see you back home. Lots of love from all the Reeves's xxxx

That sounded Amazing! Amazing... I am glad you received so much love and support... you deserve it and especially from family! Boy do I know what it feels like to have family not understand what you do... but the night back in your hometown sounded amazing and successful and filled with so much love!
Continue to have lots of success and safe travels to the land down under! <3
Dearest Lisa, reading about your Nan coming through made me feel like crying. I am so happy for you. (((Hugs)))
When you reach Australia, you must not forget to try the huge chocolate milkshakes and doughnuts. lol. (when I last went to Australia, I had milkshake and doughnuts for lunch after landing at the airport. I just sooooooo love their chocolate milkshakes.)
:-) :-)
Hope that makes you smile. Have a fun trip. (Coco having a dreamy smile on face and drooling over the thought of heavenly milkshake desserts.)
Hi Lisa!
I'd heard John Edward was touring England! That was so very sweet of him to send flowers! What a fabulous surprise, but your Nan coming through; EXCELLENT! How absolutely THRILLING! I am so happy for you! What did your Dad have to say about that? Also, how great to have Kevin's family and so many friends to make it such an amazing time!
So, off to Australia and New Zealand! It looks like a strenuous schedule, but you have energy that is just astonishing!
Take care of your sweet self!
Hugs and Love,
Cheryl
I attended the Birmingham Show last night with 6 other firends and although I was not expecting any messages, I was fully aware of the hopes and dreams my friends had. I have regularly watched your shows and been very amazed but due too many sceptics in my family have always held 1% back in fully believing so that I would not be too disappointed.
From seeing your show last night, I can't really describe how it has made me feel. The couple who lost their child really got too me and even now upsets me thinking about them. My thoughts got to them. I am a mother to two small children and the thought of anything happening to them scares me more than I cope with. I feel very mixed emotions about it all and just wish that one of my friends could have some sort of message or sign. I believe that I am now questioning many things and am scared that my sceptisim has increased and feel uncomfortable about this as I really want to believe and I don't like the way this makes me feel.
I would be too scared to attend a reading on a one to one, but if I get the chance to attend something like this again would like to do it as a small group to make it more personal.
Sending big hugs and kisses to my Nan and Grandad D xxx
Hi, Lisa,
So wonderful to hear how well everything went for you and all in Birmingham (my home town, too).
Now your heading here to Perth, Australia (my home now). Thank you for putting it on your map.
No matter how hard I tried, It is not my time to see you it seems, but I know that Perth is buzzing for your arrival and it will be a better place for having you visit here.
Thank you for the gifts you share with so many, so selflessly; and for the peace you bring to us all.
See you some day, when it is meant to be.
Love, Light and Blessings to you and your loved ones, always.
