Healing with love :-)
Monday, September 14, 2009 at 02:03AM Years ago when I first started to think about psychic's and mediums etc way before I ever did my first reading, I often thought, wouldn't it be great to heal people. Yes I thought I could be a nurse but the thought of some of the things you have to do, would just turn my stomach, so I knew that wasn't going to be may calling.
As time went by I started to have friends and family and collegues come to me with their problems and some how I would be able to know what to say to them and how to help them. I didn't realize it was anything special but as I started to delve into this type of work I realized I was given information and things from Spirit, it was like I was being given this to help them on their journey.
I love what I do and I have done for years, and now I realize that I am working as a 'healer'. Yes I do Reiki and crystal healing, but I originally thought that healing was something that had to be hands on... I know know that it's not. You can heal through words and actions.
Of course I help heal wounds through my readings but it goes beyond that, knowing what to say to people when they have a problem, or giving them the tools to help them through life.
There are many gifted people in the world who can do this too and I bet you are one of them. You listen, your friends off load on to you, you give good advice, you help people. We all have the gift of doing this, doing this for the goodness of others and often it comes without restrictions, it's unconditional.
The side that is so special is when you can see the love in a person and you help them to see it for themselves, we all have love to give and it's in our nature to share this, and when we help others to heal we do this out of love. We are not 'in love' with them but we do it because we want to share the love that we have.
So know that it just takes a moment to listen to someone, and it just takes a moment to reply to them and help them on their pathway, because those words that you say, just could change their world and save them from a lifetime of pain.

Hi Lisa,
Yes, a kind word, or gesture can make a person happy, even if for only a moment. In that time a person releases endorphins making them feel better and more positive and energetic, and can give them a chance to change their world for the better! I believe that love helps our brains release endorphins and other chemicals that can heal our bodies and our souls. (and warm our perhaps lonely, & saddened hearts)
I also believe that people who heal can help heal patients use the energy the healer exudes to cause the body to be stimulated into repair and recovery from illness, or injury. Love is such a powerful force and is no doubt an integral part of the process. When we are in a weakened condition we might not be able to rev up our own healing process, so we need outside help from a caring person who truly wants us to get well and can help us do what we cannot accomplish on our own.
It seems only natural that a person who has a truly loving heart and spirit will be one who can transform their loving energy into positive healing results! I think it is no mistake that I have been given wonderful relief from terrible pain when I have been given one of your caring hugs, Lisa. I know it was not a full healing session which is undoubtedly most recommended, but your hugs must contain a real wallop, because there was no mistaking the wonderful results! I will forever be grateful!
Your love is your natural gift, and everything else has followed!

Another fantastic power blog. Wow!!! This is a great way of looking at healing because so many people think it is only through touch or special powers. I am certainly not at all underestimating the power of hands on healing, because I know how instrumental and powerful this can be. However, it is so great to know and look at healing from another perspective. We so often think that we have to be with the person physically to heal them. I learned this through you and others on your site. It astounded me to see how powerful a distance healing in chat can be... my hands were on fire and tingling as I was part of this ring of distance healing. Others that were part of this also had similiar feelings in their hands so I began to understand this. It was an amazing experience! Now you bring up healing from a new angle that I can certainly relate to in many ways. It is through love and dialog with someone who needs practical advice or a push to get something done or to just help them through a tough time. A drop of compassion can make all the difference in our universe.

I have never been on the computer untill I joined your network, shortly after I got tickets to my first show, I hadn't even known you did tours. The first I saw you on TV I was drawn to you, and how genuine you are, and I fealt immediately that you could help with healing. Like I mentioned before I can't even refer to your venues as shows they are so much more than that.. Your gifts of hope and healing have touched my life in many ways that I am moved by emotion from all that has come into my own healing since you and this wonderful network has brought into my life. Like many others whose life you touch in remarkable ways, your blogs are very helpful and often before turning on my computer I've been in deep thought about the very things you write about. In one of the days right after my son was taken from this plane when people were offering their condolences a woman whom i had never met came to offer her sympathy she said she was a friend of one of the neighbours down the street and had seen my son around the town many times. She told me that she knwe how i was feeling(how can you i thought) then she told me that when she was a young girl her and her family was involved in an horrific accident and as a result of that she lost both her parents and 3 siblings i couldn't focus on my own grief at that moment because i was more sorry for her and her massive loss leaving her alone in one blow, She gave me a great big hug and i hugged her right back she smiled which touched my heart and had a profound long lasting effect on me knowing of what the magnitude of her loss was and that she had carried on living and my god still being able to smile and laugh made me believe that i too had to carry on because if this lovely lady can then i can too. I hope that i too have passed on some of that magic and continue to dispence hugz.

You are such a healer my dear and no healing is not all about using your hands on touch to heal. I am a nurse of 26+ years and I can tell you that healing comes in many forms. I guess that through my years of learning about myself and others, I have also learned to become a healer. Or so I am told by a beautiful friend of mine whom I studied under for three years on energy body work.
Agsin, thank you my love, for being you and showing us all that we can all be healers in one way or another. Its not just by touching but just by being who you are. A simple smile can do so much for one person, or a simple hello or a word of encourgement. All of this says something about that person and the healing energy they are projecting of onto another person.

It's amazing that you should blog this topic today. I am a fairly new member to your site but because I find it extremely easy to communicate putting "pen to paper" and end up doing just that, and reaching out and giving advice to some people, I have wondered if I need to step back a little. I have met some amazing people in your chat room, people I wouldn't be able to come into contact with in my everyday life. I have found myself reaching out to some amazing people including a young girl with Cerebral Palsy. I am blown away by her bravery and positive attitude. She puts smiley faces at most of her comments. Running parallel with this I have been asking for guidance from the Angels to help me reach out in a direction outside of my comfort zone and in some way that would be healing. I have been asking myself if this is the direction the Angels are steering me in. Then you post this blog and I reckon I have received my answer. She actually would have booked to go to your UK show on the 16th but didn't know when an operation she has to have was being scheduled for. She tells us it's on the 24th. Please pray for her Lisa and send her some healing. She is so awesome. She also feels she has psychic abilities and wants to develop her gift. Anyway, thanks for another beautiful blog. When I met you we talked about just this topic, and since then I have been exploring the healing world and healing with my words as you told me I already do, and have found that the ways to help others heal is so vast if only I can be in touch with my own heart, and not be afraid to have it open and listen to what is there. I know nothing about physical therapy but recently did my own version, strictly by intuition, with my aunt who has MS and she said her body had not felt that amazing in years! It was soooo strange I just tuned in with my love for her and with her energy and I just knew what to do, how to move her body ext.... it was amazing... I am so excited to continue learning.... and so thankful to have your blogs to help inspire me :)

Hi Lisa... I totally related to what you said about love and healing.. I have been using Naturopathy , music and art to help people heal for many years.. but the true healing comes from the vibration of love that I put into what I am doing... I am now working on my psychic abilities to be able to take my work a step higher. You played a big role in my recognizing that I have the ability to connect to the other side.
