Looking ahead and letting go!

Well Panic has set in... I am leaving in 2 days for the UK, Australia and New Zealand. I have never been away from Charlie nor had to pack for that length of time! Crazy!!

Thankfully Jonesy (lifesaver) came around to help me and organize my packing so that I didn't over pack, but I am sure I have!

I am so looking forward to heading to the UK as it's a huge thing for me to be holding my live events in my home country... It's HUGE! You know I am just a small town girl who lives in a large city, that just has a gift that the whole world knows about... but I still know where I have come from. In fact, when I get back to the UK I will be going out in my local town and meeting friends who I went to school with!!

I think it's important to remember where you come from, and what moulded you into who you are today. In fact I only just commented to Jonesy.... "OMG you live in America!" and it's true, sometimes you take many things in life for granted and then that moment hits you when you think... Wow look at what has happened.

But life happens and we have to move on and forward, we have to learn to forgive our past and people who have been in our life that upset us and move ahead. We can hold on to the past, of course but it's unhealthy. We have to look forward with love and know that we are on our own pathway.

Our past is behind us. However at times like these for me it's important for me to remember where I have come from because I am so looking forward to heading back there.  I may take a trip down memory lane, but I will not hold on to that past, and even with old school friends we will talk about the future and what it has in store. We will laugh about the old times but make plans for the future.

So remember the past for what it is, the past. Look forward to the future and know that you have the power to mould your life in to any way that you want it to go.

Be strong and look ahead, it could be daunting but look at it like a new challenge in life and something to look forward too.

Big hugs and love

Lisa xx

Very true - roots are important (and genealogy, which is my hobby, is fascinating) - but looking forward is the most important thing.

And right now I'm looking forward to seeing you in Glasgow on Sunday :D

Have a safe trip, you will be back home with Charlie before you even know it :)

But what do you do if you still love the person?! Ugh! I can't get him out of my head and I haven't seen him 2 1/2 years! I've prayed to stop thinking about him but, it never feels right. What am I to let go of? The pain or him? or both. This is too crazy for me. It's so unlike me. Help me...ugh...

Wow, Lisa... what can I say. There are people out there so excited that you are visiting their town, counting sleeps and jumping up and down!! You are beautiful wherever you go, back home or across the oceans, you are giving people such amazing comfort it is beyond words. When you go back "home", just do what you do best just like anywhere else and you will be a star!!! Bless you on your journey. Look after your health as well and get the rest that you need. Sometimes we do have to reach a stage where we go off without our children for a spell. I am sure you are going to be talking to Charlie daily, and before you know it, you'll be back together again. Have an unforgettable trip. We bloggers will all be thinking of you all the way, I'm sure. Love and hugs, Jeanette

You know? I think the world is waiting for each of your dates like they wait for Santa Clause! Only three more nights...... and the lady with the special gifts will be here! Woo hoo!

Bon voyage, Sweetie - have a grand time in old places, in new places, and think how sweet the reunion with Charlie will be at the end of it all. Like a cherry on the sundae.

Hi Lisa,
Havent had much time to comment lately, but at least have been reading your blogs.
Can't wait for your Sydney show(s)!!!!!! Not long now!!!
My poor daughter was going to be coming but can't now (due to another unforeseen committment) and she is devastated. I hope you will return again next year sometime, so she can get to see you (she was looking fwd to it soooo much. She's only 11).

Safe travels. You'll love Australia in the Spring - beautiful weather, actually we've had great weather for the past month (you wouldn't even know it's been winter).
And thank you for sacrificing your valuable time with Charlie so you can bring your amazing talents to us - it is so appreciated.

See you soon,
Deb R. :) woohooooooooooooo!

Hi Lisa, have a great time in the UK, its sad Charlie can't come back to Australia with you. Its the 1st day of Spring here today and what a wonderful weather we have been having. Safe trip to UK and onto Australia & New Zealand. New Zealand has the greenest grass I've ever seen. You will love it. See you on the Gold Coast. Try and get your rest but you keep away from those peas that you hate.

Hello Lisa, wishing you the best trip and know you will enjoy it! Overpack??? Isn't that what girl's are supposed to do? At least that is what I always tell my husband... :)
I wanted to thank you for the Empowerment week. Ever since the Cruise with you I have been getting the daily calendars from Hay House and today is "I begin today by loving & accepting every part of myself, inside and out, exactly as I am". How fitting is that? One I will have to hang up in my Office. Take care and again thanks for being you!!

Love & Hugs, Judi :)

JONESY WILL KEEP EVERYTHING IN PLACE FOR YOU....SHE HASNT EVER LET YOU DOWN ... BLESS HER AND YOU

Hi my love,
Thanks for the wonderful blog as usual. How true, the past is the past. One we can not or should not try to relive, but be thankful for. I guess no mater how hard it was we should always be thankful for what was brcause it is from there that we began. I came from a very dysfunctional family. You know the one-I was always blamed for everyhing, my mother hated me, the sexul abuse etc. But when I look back I can say that I am thankful for being a part of that because it had brought me to where I am today.

Would I ever go back to that? Hell, no! (Excuse the language my dear)

Well, my love, do have a safe trip to the UK and Australia and before you know it you will be back home in Charlies arms. Do get the rst needed though, to give your all to all of those that love you for being you.

You are much loved,
Mary

Ohhh Lisa I am so excited for you and for all your friends who can't wait to meet you. I am sad that I won't be in Glasgow but Heidi has promised to get a hug from you for me LOL. You will wow them in the UK and I think there will be a huge influx of UK members to our Lisa family after they have witnessed how talented and lovely you are.

Bon voyage or as we say in Scotland Haste ye back <3

Love and hugs

Hey there Lisa,

Wow... how the heck do you pack for that amount of travel? The most important thing is not to forget all the girlie products...LOL. Thank goodness you have some help. I would imagine that quite an overwhelming task. You are the time travel queen...so many different time zones. That is kind of cool but I am sure a bit disorienting as well.

So I wanted to stop in to wish you safe travels! Enjoy some time with old friends and being back home. Must go and do my techie thing here.

Love~n~Hugs,
DS

Safe travels, Lisa! I can't imagine packing for so long and so many places!! You will enjoy every minute of it, other than leaving Charlie behind. I am sure he will enjoy his freedom too. Kids have a way of enjoying most days and you will see him by Skype each day.

Don't forget to go to Kings Park in Perth and you will fall in love with the Gold Coast. AHhhh!! I love that land down under. Do miss it though even though I do love California!

Again, safe travels and enjoy!!
Peace & Love,
Anna
