Planning my trip!
Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 10:32PM I have been thinking about my next large trip which is to the UK and also to Australia... and I have to say, it's daughting. I am going away without Charlie for this trip, as much as I don't want to leave him at home with Mike and Jonesy and the dogs, the responsible parent in me, knows that taking time off from school is not the best thing for him.
Sometimes we have to do what we know is best but we don't really want to do it. Its hard and your heart tells you one thing yet your head tells you the other... So as a family it was decided that that was the best thing, and of course Charlie is Over the Moon! He gets 5 weeks with his fabulous godparents and then another 5 days with his grandparents as my mom and dad are coming to Australia and then also back to LA with us to see Charlie. So he is a happy camper!
It's going to be a busy few months so over the last few weeks I have taken it easy, and had as much rest as possible, except for when Sue was over here.... but that's a whole other story!! ha ha ha
Sometimes we have to start the planning a head, I am not one for planning at all... when I was a kid, I used to leave my home work until the very last minute and then rush it... I have always worked better under pressure, but now, I have to plan as if I don't I get myself all stressed and then that adds to the pressure. Crazy really... so yes I am planning and I have started on the lists, one for me, one for my mom and dad, and now another for friends who are also coming to Australia too... However I know my boss, Caroline will keep me in check and have lists of her own, so together I know I will be fine.
Kev is the one who packs the night before and turns up, saying 'have you got my passport?' bless him!
So we are looking forward to it, and can't wait to be there and have a good time and see different places. The tour to the UK is going to be fantastic, as i am heading back home doing what I do... it the best place to be!
Have a fun Monday and start the week off with a smile and enjoy!
Hugs and love
Lisa xx

I just wanted to say from my heart God Bless You.
Love you lisa.. we will be here with open arms !
Hi Lisa xxo Without a doubt it will be very very hard for you to be away from Charlie for that long and there will be tons of hugs (and tears) when you depart. This has to be the hardest part of your job when u tour for a extended time and have to be away from your loved ones. The GOOD news is that you have the comfort of knowing he is in good hands with Mike and Jonesy. I assume you will see Charlie via webcam when you are away....isn't technology great:)
Rest assured, Lisa, you made the right decision as it would not be benefical to Charlie to miss that many weeks of school.. And it sounds like Charlie is ok with it which makes it easier on you :)
How wonderful that your parents will be coming back with you for a visit and I hope you post pics your time together.. Sounds like a wonderfully exciting time for all of you.
Oh, how I wish so much I could be there for your Birmingham show as I know your soul will shine. I know how excited you are to be able to do your show on "your territory" ...it is going to be great, Lisa. I have several friends attending your UK shows so I will be asking them to get a xtra Lisa hug for me, lol...most are not yet members here but am sure once seeing you they will become part of our family here.
Great blog today, Lisa as it really hit home for me as I am also one who does everything last minute and then stress myself out to the max. And I do mean stress out, lol
Sending lots of LOVE your way
XOXOXOX
A great monday to you too girl ;) Love and light from a sunny place in Norway.
Hi Lisa,
I know how you feel, I am actually away from home for work in Auckland and before reading your blog I was sitting here in my hotel on my own, thinking I wanna go home!!! I am only here for a week but go away quite often. I don't have kids but I have a dog who is my baby and I miss and worry about her so much. She is well looked after with her grand parents and their dog though.
I hope it all goes well for you and you get to enjoy your time away, and get a chance to do some relaxing and sightseeing while here in Australia.
I cant wait to see you in Adelaide.
Cheers

Hi Lisa,
You are a better mom than I was, because I would have just chucked school for my son and brought him with me! You have enough strength to do what is needed and not what is wanted! (as difficult as it may be!)
Looking forward to Santa Rosa, and saying "Hi!"
Take good care of yourself!!
Love and Hugs,
Cheryl
Hi Lisa,
Would love for you to come to Tasmania on your next Aussie visit :)

Oh Lisa could be worse, I have a couple step nieces and their Mom is away in Iraq for a YEAR! They are staying with their Dad, Grandma and they have been coming down to stay with my Sis for a few weeks at a time. We've been taking them camping at our cabins. It's funny to watch the 12 years old, I'll sit and watch her stare everyone down.....she's got some kind of gift because I tell you she is getting into everyone's mind and she knows exactly how the mind works....like you said once like a vampire LOL, sucking up all the energy....fun to watch her.
Anyway as long as you are still living in the now, everything will be ok ....play on Skype with Charlie alot. Just wanted to say my Nieces get special love cuz their Mom is gone and when they are with us their Dad is not there either, so they the royal treatment LOL, I am sure Charlie will be the same!
Oh yeah more thing, my other Niece who is 4 had a VERY tiny orange butterfly around her the other day kind of gave me the creeps but oh so beautiful! She chased that butterfly and it appeared they were playing, the butterfly then landed on her 3 inch finger and she walked around showing everyone, it then flew off....round and around her head and face and then landed on her head, then they took off running together...weirdest thing I ever saw!
Lisa, I need to say and you would already know this, to travel the world is a huge learning experience anyway so even though you have made your decision to leave Charlie to attend his education etc, traveling the world is also an education at another level.
This type of learning cannot be taught in schools or taught at all really as we have to experience it in person. Fortunately for Charlie he has had some of this type learning so I understand your decision, but am concerned how you will be without your little one for that length of time!
Anyway take care and rest up and look forward to seeing you soon!
Dear Lisa,
Hi again. Have been away from your blog for a few days now, besides being offline, my daughter and grandchildren were here for the weekend. We had a wonderful time, including walking Robberg Nature Reserve yesterday (Sunday)... my friend, Tammy, "walked" me into something that's for sure. The "half hour there, one hour picnic, half hour back", was actually one and a half hours there, half hour picnic, one and a half hours back. I was finished!!! 53 years old and not fit, climbing rocky paths around a coastline, and it was hot, and I had no hat. Tammy is like "You Tarzan, me Jane"... I swear she won't catch me out again. I will go with my hubby next time, at a more placid pace, enjoying the beauty instead of wondering if my legs were going to konk in. Had to just share that with you because this is how I spent the weekend instead of being on your blog. Lisa, as long your children are happy and secure with who looks after them, you are absolutely fine. He loves you so much (there's the cutest picture of the two of you in your "Kids with Gifts" article). As long as you are honest and open with each other, which I know you are, he'll be fine. Enjoy your trip with your folks to Australia (wish it was South Africa... no pressure!). I noticed, by the way, that you are Gemini and Kev Libran. Colin is Gemini and I am Libran. A soulmate combo for sure. Blowing the trumpet for Librans, I'm sure Kev is a wonderful husband and father, as we are big on family being first and most important and playing the fair and balancing act! Between the two of you, I'm sure you are being the greatest parents ever! I am sure the demands on you are increasing because I know what light you have brought into my life. I NEEDED to see your TV shows. That 10% of me that doubted has disappeared thanks to you and that's a wonderful relief believe me! What you are doing is so needed by everyone, so please look after yourself (listen to your hubby), keep that beautiful smile, and have a wondrous time in Australia and remember that all your fans are rooting for you. Love and blessings, Jeanette, South Africa
I assure you, all the hard work will pay off when you get here Lisa, everyone in Australia is waiting to welcome you with open arms and I know you won't be disappointed, it will be the trip of a lifetime I am sure. I am so excited to see you here in Perth. Do not fret if you need it we will all help you but I assure you it will be amazing.
Love and light,
Krystal
Hi Lisa, so happy you are coming to the land of Oz to share your amazing gift with us all. Hopefully I will see you in Perth.

I am the same as you .. leave it till the last moment... i still do for the most part LOL have safe journeys!!
Lisa tell you I want. it can be difficult I am often sad because there are many chicane in my family but all the time you wrote you give me a bit of joy I am happy that you were here in the world and that you help us I am really pleased that you've responded to my message. My donation is difficult to accept but I understand that we must accept it because it is my destiny to use honor the gods and spirit to help bring the truth about the doubts of people who live in sorrow and mourn their beloved dead. Thank you for me the word of encouragement to stay strong I'll stay strong. Noémie Beauchamp xxx
Hi Lisa, you did the right thing for Charlie, yes it would have been fun to have him but you're perfectly right about school ;-))
It sure will be a great tour through Uk and Australia. I am a bit the one who plans everything at the last minute but being organised is always so much better to avoid surprises ;-))
Love,
Lise
Hey Lisa
Well another Monday at work done!!
I am coming to see you In Nottingham soon, I am really looking forward to it
XX
Hello Lisa.
U are such an amazing woman. I hope some say I will get the chance to met you. Best wishes from Norway
Hello Lisa.
I just saw another blog u hade here about your son..Ask and you shall recieve..So I am just gonna ask and hope that I am not being rude to do so. I am in a kind of difficult financial situation and I do not know how to get out of it. This is bothering me every day. Some days worse than others. I feel it is so hard to overcome this..
I am also clairvoyant and are reading people online and sometimes offline. But i never take paid for this. I have been read before but no one has never seen me or those around me. I becamed aware of my abilities after my dad died over 2 years ago 53 years old. I am still learning and are humble to what that are coming my way. So really my question to you is what am I going to do with my situation. Financially, abilities general life??
I hope you can find time to answer this. But I will totally understand if you so not have the time. But one can only ask...
And hopefully recieve..
My greatest thank you to you and the amazing person you are.Hope to hear from you as soon as you can manage?
Sincerely Monica Norway
Can't wait to c u again in action when u are in Melbourne,Hugs Rachxoxo
Hi Lisa!!!
What a wonderful kid Charlie is to understand that you are going on this big trip without him,and it also shows the logical maternal strenghth you have by deciding for him to not miss out on school. He is turning into a special litte man and you can tell he is the "Apple of your eye" as you can feel the bond that emninates from you both that you have with each other.
I am so glad too that your Mum & Dad are coming with you on the trip to Australia and I hope that they will come to your show and it would be fantastic if they where at the meet and greet as it would be the most awesome fortunate special occasion to thank them both from the bottom of our hearts to say "Thankyou Mr & Mrs Williams" for creating and giving us your daughter Lisa who is now our Sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Mum & Dad lol!!!!!!!!! See you in Sydney Lisa wooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo on the 29th wooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo!!!
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
Dearest Lisa, ((((Hug)))),
I am worried for you that you will miss Charlie when you are away for the five weeks.
I have a lot to tell you about Melbourne, Australia. Perhaps in another blog. There are also some lovely lasagna eating places there. The Greek and Italian Lasagna shops.
Wish that I could come to see you for your Australia tour. Perhaps one day in the future I might be able to travel for your show.
My Auntie once said to me that her youngest boy wanted to go away for some time. When she asked him why, he said that because when his older brother went away for the hols, the mummy missed him badly. So the little boy wanted to go away for awhile so that he could see how much his mummy missed him. Kids are cute that way.
Have a good trip to Australia in the coming month, dear Lisa. with love,
Hi Lisa,
Don't forget about us in little ole New Zealand. We're looking forward having you in our beautiful country too. Can't wait to see you at the Christchurch show.
Cheers
