Lives and facing reality

You know I have been writing this blog for over a year, and at the time I never thought I would make it through 2 weeks let alone a year. Yes there are times that I don't blog as it's crazy and I'm so tired at the end of the day and then there are times that I wonder what to write about, and then there are those other times that I plan my blog all day.

It's crazy. And I often think my life is so mundane and wonder why everyone is so interested, but yesterdays blog summed it up really. We are all facinated with peoples lives. We like to help and nurture people. And what was interesting, I suddenly realized during a meeting today, that we need to hear about other peoples lives to help us with our own life.

I was chatting about doing a TV show, and how it's very real life and what people will get from it, and it's amazing how many people struggle in private. We struggle with so many things from confidence to losing weight, to losing hair to losing a loved one and many more issues. But to read about someone elses life, can help. It can either give you that escapisum, where you are wrapped up in someones life for a time, or it can show you that, those people have normal lives and real issues too.

I think it's important especially now to face these issues, but you have to face them in the way that is right for you. If you don't want to publically express them, then that is fine... you don't have to but what you have to remember is that there is always someone who will be there to help you.

Now some of you will say .. yeah yeah... however, it's actually true. You can privately face them and talk to some one who is willing to listen, or you can face them on your own and work through them. However if you watch someone else going through the same as you, it can give you the confidence to stand up and work towards being stronger.

I have done it myself. I had an issue with a situation and I hid my fear and my problem from so many people, however then I watched how other people handled it... and it helped me. It helped me find the strength to say, hey... I need help.

Incidentally, it was around that time that I started my blog too and I know I poured my heart out in them knowing that I was being helped and that my life could help others, and it did.

Many people are in the same boat at the moment with jobs, the economy and life, but standing together and helping out so many is important. Just talking through the issues can help. It can help you find a solution or a way around things.

However, the time that you get fed up listening to yourself or getting bored with repeating the same old stuff... is the time you have to look at your life and make a change. Maybe you have been given a new beginning for a reason, a career change, a new opportunity, a time to leave the past behind and move forward and start again.

Make a plan and stick to it. believe in yourself and know that our lives are all predestined, but we still have free will to make a change!

Whoa, I am not sure where that came from... but I tend to brain dump when I blog! ha ha ha

Ok back to the mountain of emails to get through, have a great day/night where ever you are.

With love

Lisa xx

Once again I have been given the message I needed to hear. Isn't it amazing how the universe works to bring us back to our paths. I have been told that when I "hear" something it is my spiritual obligation to pass it on, without judgement. Lisa, thank you for putting out the words especially when you don't know where they came from. I was there with you a year ago...you've come a long way baby!

Thank you Lisa. For the last 3 months I have struggled with writing the essays I need to do to finish a Teaching Degree. I came up with the idea of moving to a new city & starting a new life in order to do this, but then started struggling with depression to complete it. It is amazing to me that someone as well rounded as you appear on TV might also struggle with needing help.
Thanks for your post - I needed to read this today.

And so did I ...get the confirmation I needed at 2.30 am. In bed I was asking for signs, help and reassurance. I got up and wandered downstairs and went straight to your blog. It is answering my prayer.
I know what I have to do and I will, but I'm scared and a little lost at times it seems SO huge and difficult. Still I know I'm not alone or the only one to face this. Many have taken this road before me and survived.
Thank you Lisa and BLESS YOU.

Thank you for your wisdom... I just loved your brain dump! Ha!

Yes I am tired of telling the " I was laid off story" It's getting old and I realized it's time to tell a new story. I really don't need to justify or explain anything to anyone really..but isn't that what we do?! And telling that story just brings me down emotionally, physically, vibrationally...it lowers the energy and I feel "stuck". It's the push- pull ... I have heard that if you keep telling the same ol story you can keep the energy from progressing or changing. It keeps it all in place.

Thanks for your love & support ... we are all in this together on so many levels. So many ways....much more than we are able to fully understand.

Yes - I am going to start telling "a new story" * smile* ... Much Love & Hugs! - Andrea

How wonderful it is to hear those words. Understanding those words. Embrace those words.... Just by reading this blog, really opened my eyes... it was right there, and it took just one person to write them down.... One person can make a difference... thank you Lisa. You have made my "life"....

Thank you, Lisa............You always seem to write the right thing at the time most needed by many. That's why so many love you and you inspire everyone to keep on going even when things are tough. You are an Angel here on earth.
May you have many blessings in your life too like you are to so many.
Hugs,
Anna

Thank you, darling girl! You already know that you can 'dump' on me anytime, no matter. We are blessed to know the 'real' you, celebrity trappings removed. You know we are quite partial to the Redditch girl, who puts her knickers on one leg at a time, like anyone. Same goes for the scantily clad golfer, who will remain nameless! LOL Should have liked him to turn round & be a bit more 'cheeky', though... I'd bet Charlie will be 'on' him for that shot.

Thank you also, for the 'kick in the pants,' via today's message. Rutting about in the 'mud' here, imagining it as quicksand, when it really isn't. All about attitudes & platitudes, lovey, & you have the best. Little one is missing you, & kissed picture of you two goodnight. Absolutely Love, L & A

thanx honey, really hit home with those wise words. Every now and then we all need a reminder to lift our game and get on with it, you are a gem !

Lisa -- lately, whenever I start questioning myself or getting down, I logon to FB or Twitter and see either your random inspirational "tweet" or a link to your blog. And EVERY time, what you share feels like it is directed to me. I know alot of people feel that way, but it's true. Someday, we're going to meet and you're going to have lots to say to me. I can just feel it. Thank you -- Sue

Its funny I read your blog and a lady called Ann Kiemel she is an older lady who use to write books years ago about christianity and how to love people. Very beautiful to read.. your lives are interesting because you believe in goodness inspite of financial status and recognition. Your constantly finding your feet too. Because your not about being accomplished your about living a purpose. Your goal is love. Celebrities and accomplished people seem to have more things, become more beautiful as they get older..
just seems all very cold and pointless. But that isn't you. You are giving hope in your words and being your lovely self and caring and being honest about your life and opinions. I absolutely! get hope from your blogs. Everyone needs to reach out and find this hope, even if they don't have a single soul who feels this way..

Lisa,
Enjoyed your show on 6/25 in Lowell. You're terrrific, so right on. My first time seeing John and Colette. John was great. Great combo of wit and ability. Colette....???? That night you Re-read at least 4 people that she had read. Your validations were clear and your messages specific, as usual. Colette just couldn't get them. My feeling is that those
whose messages she was trying to pass on weren't leaving until they had successfully passed their messages to their loved ones. Thus, they waited for you. It's too bad however that so much of the show was taken up with these re-dos. Next time maybe TWO MEDIUMS would be best. Enjoy your holiday.

FANTASTIC ENCOURAGEMENT OF WORDS STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART.
BRYAN ADAMS...HUMM... "GIVE IT TO ME ..STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART...LISTEN..
Love that guy. ;-)
SERIOUSLY LISA THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME, FROM YOU WALKING THROUGH STEPS OF LIFE THAT MAKE ME THINK... and ride the Waves. It is not ALWAYS POSITIVE BUT "WHEN THE DARKEST TIMES COME ....WE HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THE LIGHT"! Or shall I say we can all "choose" which steps to take. LISA...YOU SAID A BIT BACK AGO THAT: We need to take steps OR we will fall Flat on our Face. I will always remember that. He sure must have a "Grand Plan" because it has taken me a long time and I am still not there yet. CALLING THE UNIVERSE...COME IN!! PLEASE.
Have a wonderful night.
Hugs to you Lovely Lisa, Hugs to Sir Charlie and Tap for Kev. Kisses to Lucy & Max.

Love,

We are so grateful for your blogs : ) I met with a medium tonight, and I found it interesting that when asked a question about myself I have the hardest time answering it, even though I spend most of time time picking myself apart and observing my life objectively...assuming I know myself pretty well and therefore have all the answers. The moment someone became interested in what I had to say I just froze up. Suddenly I felt like a stranger to myself lol Anyway my point is that it is realllly important to have someone to talk to, to help you through your problems...to isolate is the enemy! I learned a lot about myself just by talking to him, the experience was definitely a wake up call. You are NEVER alone. So tonight, in the dark...we sat on a rock at the edge of a stream & made a pact with "myself", and the shadow attatched to me...that I will work as hard as I can to forgive myself, let go of all the sadness ,and let my light shine though so that I can allow people back into my life : ) That is my mission plan. I wish everyone luck with their own! By the way, if anyone is having a spiritual crisis and wants to talk feel free to email me <3 Roe (in2bluememory@hotmail.com)

Thanks again Lisa...for your commitment to blogging. Sometimes if I find one of your blogs particularly helpful, I keep it for future reference or in case someone else is going through that problem, because you sum things up in a clear and light way.

Lots of Love

Hi Lisa,
Many of us seem to need an occasional helping hand, an understanding heart, and a compassionate nature to help us make it through this difficult life. It is the very least we can do for each other.

Love and hugs,
Cheryl

Hey there Lisa,

Keep brain dumping girl... it is awesome! I have to tell you that your blogs are great and they are filled with meaning and lessons. I don't read many blogs, but I do look forward to yours even if it just about catching up with life. Yes you are a celebrity, but that is not why I read them. Over the year I really enjoyed reading your blogs and like you for you not just because you are a public figure or a medium. You are real and open... not superficial. I am a cut through the crap kind of person so I can appreciate your style. Hollywood does not really impress me nor do I get all crazed over stars. I enjoy and respect the art and entertainment industry but that is pretty much as far as it goes for me. As you said in your blog yesterday, people are just people. So true...

Love and Big Hugs,
DreamSpirit

Wow.... perfect message with perfect timing for me Lisa thank you so much.
Hey... is it possible to perhaps include 'members blogs' in the upgrades coming? like maybe linked to our profile page?
Just a thought.
