Developing your gift!

It;s been the full day of the workshop today in Santa Monica, and as I was preparing the workshop I was starting to think… whoa this is intense, and I was right but the one thing that I have been impressed with is how everyone has coped and how well people have done with the information that they have gotten.

It's interesting as spirit will only give you the information that you need and they will only show themselves to you when you are ready.

Many people have said, that they have not been able to see their loved ones or spirit… and what happens is we all try too hard to do things. But we can all do this. We are all psychic. There are times that we sense things around people, and we have to trust our instincts. However we will only develop to the level that we are supposed to.

For instance, liken it to singing. We can all sing… Now… some of us, should really not step out of the shower when we sing… ha ha ha but then there are others who have raw talent and can train and become the Celine Dion's of the world.

We all have a gift at this but it depends on ho much of it can be developed. Not everyone is going to develop to a high level. You will only get what you can handle and that is something we have to accept.

So start to believe and accept in the abilities that you have and grow with them. You may surprise yourself.

Bug hugs and much love

Lisa xx

Being confused about life doesn't help much, so much going on I wish I knew what my special talents were and where I am meant to be... My mom just passed away and now I am feeling really lost.. i miss my mom!

I aree whole hertedly Lisa. There are time in everyones lives when we are brought closer to spirit, be it through grief, accident or ilness. I have been developing my abilities for the past 20 years and I am still just an infant learning to walk. It has been through dealing with a life threatening illness and the lone journey therof, that I have become closer to spirit, and am comforted by my loved ones passed. Thank you for the wonderful work you do and helping to generate awearness and therfore aceptance.

My best friend and soul tie past a couple of years ago, and at first she was around all the time doing stuff. She then moved onto the next stage and couldn't be around as much, but this morning to make her point known in a conversation I was having, she made a glass candle holder fall to the floor (carpeted luckily) How cool is that?

Yep exactly Lisa...All we need is the manual/guidence (someone to teach us) then it's up to us to learn how to use it, to the best of our ability...Love Stace XXX

Hello Lisa, I really think you're right. Very often, I have wondered how I would react if a spirit appeared to me clearly and I was clearly not prepared and it was not a good idea... ;-) but life changes us and experience makes us different.. I certainly need to settle the strength I've been slowly rebuilding, to have somebody by my side and feel sure before I can handle spirits...
Thank you Lisa for your blog, it's always inspirational...

Lots of love,

Lise

Thank you for explaining that, Lisa. It makes it so much more amazing that you have developed your art to such an extent!

Lots of love, Lana

I get fussy in the moment but typically in hindsight I am grateful for all the times that it wasn't me calling the shots. "They" know more than I ever will. My life seems to go more smoothly (including my connections with spirit) when I let go.
Welcome back to the states. Blessings to you and yours
:) Amy

Yes I'm so glad you explained that Lisa; we all have the ability/gift in slightly different shape and form, What surprised me was that I thought the whole Witchywooo thing was out of reach, dangerous and not what I experienced when I chatted away to my friends husband after he got killed in an avalanche. I asked for help to buy presents to his son,- and of course his instructions were spot on every time. It's not something far off in the distance, it's right there at the corner of your eye.
But what you have is extraordinary, like the perfect frequency no matter who you are speaking to!! And you share it so willingly and lovingly. THANK YOU

Faith is the absence of fear; You Lisa, have a lot of faith, thus no fear of seeing or hearing the spirits. We are blessed to have you in our lifetime.

Hey there Lisa,

It is good for me to hear you say that while you were preparing for the workshop you realized "whoa this stuff is intense". Believe it or not, those words gave me some level of comfort knowing that an incredibly gifted and experienced medium & psychic such as yourself can still recognize the intensity of this process. I am not even allowing myself to learn or go through a process of development because I already feel the intensity just from experiences that are spilling into my life daily. I don't want to learn so I can practice or read others, I just want to understand these out of the ordinary experiences and learn to shut it off when needed. However, I am so anxious and am afraid of opening up Pandora's box. What if I learn and more opens up? I feel like a turtle, I get out of my shell (comfort zone) and then I want to go back in my shell and not come back out. However, the shell is falling apart sort of speak and there really is no where to hide. Sorry if I sound a little ridiculous but this is really how I feel. :)

So glad the workshop was successful! I knew it would be.

Love and Hugs,
DS

Well and it is intense! And bless you for bringing it in academic format to the US, as there is not much in the way of schooling on it available here! You are of course correct: we are given what we can deal with. I can deal with seeing spirit, but would likely freak out a bit if ectoplasm started happening! We are each of us at the perfect level of understanding and ability, and like anything, we shall progress at our own rate. It's like learning to paint, or as you wisely allude, like learning to sing. I could benefit from singing lessons to polish my untrained voice, but I shall never be Lady Gaga ( love her verve, if not every one of her artistic demonstrations).

Thanks Lisa, you are such an insperation...I have beenopening up & learning soooo much the past few years, esp this one. What a year it's been. Learning how to turn things off & on when i want, that's the hardest part. Now that i have accepted things are around me all the time, it's an amazing gift from god & it has been awesome that some relatives of friends have chose me to deliver messages, it never ceases to amaze me how far thet wi.ll go to get the messeage across. I'm looking forward to each day and the new things that i will see & learn. I admire you &again thanks:)

Well done Lisa! I must say the crowd and I, really learned alot and enjoyed all the energy you managed to stir up. I feel so fortunate to have been able to attend both weekend workshops and look forward to attending the Advanced workshops someday. Thank you LIsa. Wanted to say Hi and I love your blog. Good blog. I have a tendency to second guess myself and as you said we need to believe and accept the abilities we have. Warm Blessings, Barbara Arbster

Hi Lisa,

Trusting you are well and your family.
This is true (your blog)
but when someone (not YOU)... when someone tells us something unexpected and very lovingly, yet not on a one to one basis~not wanting to take "all and everyone else's time"... Our brain/heart can "freeze" our thoughts and have a delayed reaction.
I personally always do better on a "one to one". in person or on the phone.
Hugs to everyone. I'm glad Santa Monica was good for you and your group.
hugs.

Hi Lisa,

How ironic I purchased a ticket for your hayhouse retreat in Qld Australia next June and a few days later I had the most incredable dream about my grandmother who died many years ago when I was a young child, I have never dreamed of her before. Then days later I received your information sheet enclosed with my ticket where you say you may start to see signs from spirit around you. It was a dream I will never forget. My grandmother also had a dog with her which I confirmed my dad had once as a child.

Take Care,

Lara Haidary
